Natalie Portman looked gorgeous at the opening night of Cannes on Wednesday.
This year, the actress has the distinct honor of being on the jury that selects the winning films.
Also in Cannes this year?
Natalie's ex-boyfriend, Gael Garcia Bernal.
Let's hope things are cool between them!

She's such a gorgeous girl but that dress is really not that hot and the the color is not too flattering on her. Actually I don't think vibrant purple would look good on most people.
She does have a pretty face, but she is WAAAAAY too thin.
what does "first" mean. or like 3rd and such. so lost.

I love Natalie Portman! She is the epitome of class and humility and totally goes against the Hollywodo machine. She makes up for all the Lindsays, Kardashians and "The Hills" douchebag cast members and is one of the most talented actresses working to boot! I'd love to see her and Leonardo in a movie together!
Puleeze! This girl is WAY OVER-RATED!!!!. She absolutely CANNOT act to save her life. Her bad acting along with the more horrendous acting of Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker) in the Star Wars prequel was a real double whammy for that movie. I watched atleast 5 people get up and leave the theater during the movie and later listened to complaining and disappointment after. They ruined what could have been a wonderful movie.
Some kinda eating disorder I'd say. The situation goes downhill from here.

i ldon't have a problem with natalie, i actually kind of like her, but… she looks weird in this pic. like a baby just learning to walk or something - she looks like she's about to topple over, and kind of like she's trying to hold onto those guys for support. maybe it's just a bad shot/camera angle…

Meh, she's pretty but she can't act worth a damn! And everyone always compares her to Hohan or Paris to make her seem better, but honestly, who DOESN'T look good compared to those girls? I don't see how Portman is so much "better" than the other well-behaved actresses in her peer group, like Maggie Gylenhaal or Scarlett or Keira, etc. She's certainly not a better actress. And even though she went to Hah-vahd she never comes across to me as all that smart, in her interviews she says some pretty dumb stuff!
