10 Years Too Late?

MTV's animated 90's show Beavis and Butthead could be making its way to the big screen as a live-action feature, according to creator Mike Judge.
Judge recalls that at one point Johnny Depp wanted to play Beavis – with Marlon Brando as Butthead.
How insanely brilliant would that have been????
“For some reason, I used to hate the idea for years,” says Judge of a live-action Beavis & Butthead. "Now, I think maybe there’s something there.”
Two names being bandied about are Sean William Scott and Napoleon Dynamite star Jon Heder.
We're not sure about this idea. Sounds like it could be really bad…and dated.

no that sounds like it could be good. jon heder as butthead, sean william scott as beavis = fucking perfect! they're both so amazing for the part! i can see myself laughing my ass off if they both do exactly what beavis&butthead do the way they did it in the show.

Oh, God no! It would be horrible and even more mind-numbing and painful than the show and the movie combinded!
If Dax Shepherd's perfornace as Frito in Idiocracy is any indication of what Judge could do with a speech-impedimented dumb ass in live action format, then I am all in. I am all in anyway. BnB are the avatars of our dumb world and therefore will never be dated in any format, especially if Judge is helming.

As someone who used to watch the show as a teen, I am thrilled to hear about a live action movie. I'll see it… even if it is horrible.
