Now that's what i call awesome American indie music! always been a Weezer fan, ever since i was in middle school.
um this song is not epic.
any fan of the old weezer would turn it off right away.
its crap.
better to finish on top than to fade away - weezer is proof of this.

Honestly, this song shows in abundance their great influence by the everlasting Queen. It is almost rock opera material….so much like Queen…especially with the acapella harmonizing and guitar instrumentals. I def see this song grabbing attention at the Grammy's…(not that anyone cares about hte Grammy's) As soon as they put out a good video, MTV will have to put them on, even though they are mainly a hip hop station now.

The reason why i call it indie is because Weezer started as an indie band back in the nineties. Though they became huge and their music was played on the radio they managed to remain indie. You can be a very famous band and still make indie music.

As far as the song goes, it's all over the place. The heavy drums/guitars sound pretty bad and the lyrics are everywhere. As a TRUE weezer fan, I dont like it. I respect them for trying, though.
