Well, it should be called something else - marriage is DEFINED by law as being between a man and a woman. and don't get your panties in a knot- I'm just saying you need a different WORD. That is what bothers people- the actual word marriage. Pick another word. and have fun. Marriage is the right for children to have legitimate, natural parents. Homosexuality doesn't fall anywhere in there. Giving gays the right to marriage serves no purpose other than to make people feel better about themselves, which is not the purpose of law.

We straight people have not done the best w/ our right to marry so it is time to let the gays try it and see how it goes. There will be cheating and spousal abuse and divorce and alimony and child custody fights…and there will also be love and happiness and harmony and happily ever after, just like in straight marriages.
the issue isn't about gay marriage (i don't care one way or another), this issue was struck down by the voters of California, and OVERTURNED by the Calif Supreme Court, by a 4-3 vote. Why put it to the voters? Just marry already !!! Most corporations are allowing employees' "partners" benefits anyways…..
