Excellent news BUT the conservative right is already working to place a constitutional amendment on the November ballot that, if passed, would nullify today’s landmark victory and put a gay-marriage ban into the CA constitution. Perez, you must be vocal and let people know that they HAVE to vote against this in November.

Perez…you have to realize that marriage was a religious institution before the government made it profitable. Perhaps rather than recognizing gay (or straight) marriages, it should be an act that is recognized in church only. Of course, this would require radical measures as well. The government has overstepped it bounds on many issues, marriage is one of them.
