It's unconstitutional because it discriminates? It then logically follows that minors should be allowed to buy and use alcohol, because the laws against it discriminate against them. Minors should also be able to drive, because the age limits discriminate against them. Siblings should be able to marry siblings, or couples marry couples, because the laws against those acts discriminate against those who want to do them. By the court's logic, there should be no laws that discriminate in any way: companies should be forced to hire criminals, daycare centers and schools to employ sexual predators because no to do so discriminates against THEM.

To give sanction to homosexual marriage would be to give approval to that lifestyle, which the Bible clearly and consistently condemns as sinful. I believe that Christians should stand firmly against the idea of gay marriage / same sex marriage. Marriage is ordained by God to be between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:21-24; Matthew 19:4-6). Homosexual marriage is a perversion of the institution of marriage and an offense to the God who created marriage. God forbids and condemns homosexuality, so He clearly is opposed to homosexual marriage. As Christians, we are to seek to share the love of God and salvation through Christ with homosexuals. We are to be loving and kind to homosexuals, while at the same time not condoning their sinful lifestyle.

Canada legalized it under similar court rulings and the government also chose not to appeal but pass it into law. To shut the religious fanatics and other objectors up they did include an out. NO Church or Organization can be forced to marry or sanctify a same-sex marriage. They need only respect it and abide by the Charter of Human Rights.
Technically, if you are not married in a religous ceremony but rather by a Jusitice of the Peace or other Non-Clergy - You whether straight or Gay are in a Civil Union anyways - So to all those Vegas and Courthouse Weddings - How's the Civil Union going? To all the straights and gays that have been married in a religious ceremony How's the Marriage going?
