If you go and find the really old stuff of them on youtube when they were actually singing their performances, it sounded just as crappy.
New Kids fans aren't New Kids fans because of their singing. haha
It has officially been long enough. My 1st crush as a 10 year old was on Joey, he had that curly hair and was closer to my age. My 2nd favorite was Jordan. I actually helped him when I worked at a clothing store at the Beverly Center in like 2000, he was real nice. At that point I was over it, but I did think of what the 10 year old in me in 88' would have thought, that 10 year old would have freaked out! Good for them, but of course I wouldn't buy the album.

OMG! You took me way back. I loved it. I just about wet my pants, singing and dancing. Then they got OL' SCHOOL on the 3rd part. I LOVE KNOTB.
While they didn't sound the greatest, I still loved it! It gave me a flashback to 7th grade. Joey forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to disagree with you there. They may not be the best singers in the world, but I think they've got more than decent voices, especially Jordan who could reach sky high notes back in the day. Perez needs to realize that it doesn't matter what we think. It's a reunion tour, for old time's sake and for fans like me who were too young to go see them in concert back in 1991. It's not about reviving their career, so it doesn't matter what haters think. We NKOTB fans are loyal and don't care that people think they suck.

OMG! SUCH LAME FUCKS!!! They ound horrible. I'm in California and I'm watching it on TV at this very moment; 8:36am. They sound like shit. They also look stupid singing this shit. Old ass phucks singing "Step by step, ohhhh ohhh giiirrrlll…" sounds creepy. And they can't dance anymore. They are doing this because they are all broke bums. They think they can cash in on the whole "Reunion" thing, like the Spice Girls did. Too bad nobody likes NKOTB anymore, except for old people of course. Thats what my mom used to listen to. She's all wet after watching them.

Perez-You're such a hater. You try singing in the pouring rain. Ahem, rain and the concrete of the buildings I'm sure didn't make good for great acoustics. Either way they did amazing for their first time back. I'm sure they'll make more money this summer on their reunion tour then you can ever dream about making in 10 lifetimes.

They didn't sound that bad at all. The problem is that Gordo, and a lot of other people, have gotten used to listening to Madonna and Britney lipsynching all the way. I think they sounded great. I rather hear someone putting their vocal chords to work, than listening to some silly recording. If I want lipsynching, I'd watch the video.

I loved New Kids in Junior High and went to a concert when I was 12. They always sounded like shit live. They were way out of tune when we went to see them. However, that isn't really why you go to a New Kids concert anyway!
Pretty bad performance of their old stuff… but loved the new song. They got the hang of it after awhile… maybe it was nerves?! Maybe???

it was fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At their ages were probably lucky none of them broke a hip dancing around like that. They were hotter than ever and time did them damn good. Can't wait to see it live in Beantown:)

look..were their vocals great…no! but what do you expect when men in their late thirties sing songs that were recorded in their late teens. However, give credit where credit is due…performing live after many years…impressive. They were always more the entertainers than the performers and it looks like they had a blast as well as the audience. I did like there new stuff. God help us all looks like the kids are back:)

I think you need to watch the 2 songs after that! They were obviously having mic issues probably due to the rain. They seemed to work it out for the next songs because they sounded awesome and looked hotter than ever!
