Shia: Making Solo Indy Movie!

George Lucas revealed that there's a VERY good chance that Indy 5 will happen.
Lucas says that he and director Steven Spielberg have left the door open for a sequel to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which is expected to open to huge numbers next week.
Lucas goes on to say, "I haven’t even told Steven or Harrison (Ford) this…But I have an idea to make Shia (LeBeouf) the lead character next time and have Harrison come back like Sean Connery did in the last movie. I can see it working out."

UGGGG!!! i smell another star wars episode I disaster. Go LUCAS!! RUIN YET ANOTHER FRANCHISE. 4 shame!
The film just had its world premier screening at the Cannes festival a few hours ago, and already the bad news is pouring in. The critic for the UK Telegraph said "It had its world premiere in Cannes before an audience who cheered it in advance but ended up laughing at moments that were not intentionally funny" and also With a cast designed to appeal to all ages, an overstuffed plot and an ageing action hero, it looks like a film born of commercial calculation rather than a story that needed to be told. It's time to entomb this elderly franchise once and for all.
WTF? Shia is no replacement for Harrison. This has to be a Crystal Skull publicity stunt. Hey, as long as no poop balls fly from his pant legs, sure, let the suck-ass sequels comeforth!

neh, not a good idea, but if there had to be a new jones, labeouf would do just right. BUT NO, no more jones movies, it will ruin a classic.

Seriously wtf? Why the hell ruin the franchise? Lucas is officially off his rocker! Are you sure he wasn't kidding around when he made that comment? That's the worst idea I've heard in a long time, Indiana Jones has NO replacement EVER. If they want, they can make a "Mutt Williams" franchise, which won't even have half the fanbase of course, but DON'T MESS WITH INDY!!!
