im down for watching new shows. im not really excited but ill def check it out. at firs i didnt want to watch gossip girl bc i loved the books but didnt think the show would do the book justice. i got hooked once i saw the first couple of episodes. i love all the characters. they all have strong parts in the show which i love. 90210,do i think it will last probably not. but it should last for at least two seasons

P.S. For all those hating on the race issue, if you took the time to look up the actors, it will become clear that there is more ethnicity on the show than the African adopted child. (P.S. if the rich white family would have adopted a poor white kid, it would be the oc.) I think they made a good call at bringing some ethnicity into the show.
And, the argument that his new show looks cheesy and will ruin the original. The original 90210 set out to be a show that looked at actual issues teenagers (and young adults) faced. So with a new cast, should we all be hoping that the new cast delivers and pulls together an awesome show?

-He will face racism at school
- He will have a hard time adjusting to a white family
- He will find a white girlfriend and her parents wont accept him
- He will be reunited with with family in the hood
- And of course he eventually will form a strong bond with his adopted parents

I was pretty exited when I found out that they were going to remake one of my favorite shows of all time, esp since they would bring back some of the old cast. I was all up to giving this new show a chance.
But after watching this shit of a preview I can't believe that Jennie and Tori are allowing these producers/writers/etc to use the BH 90210 name just for the inital ratings! Especially Tori! It was her own father who made the OG show a hit! If this is a real prewiew of how this show is going to end up, than what a shame. She, of all people, should have understood the original concpet of the show. Even considering the new kinds of issues kids face today, this looks like it will not deal with anyone of them just like the OG 90210 did! Just hope for the best, I guess.

Degrassi Season 8 !!!
Current mood: ecstatic
Im sooo excited to FINALLY annouce after LONG and HARD anticipation that yes, Degrassi will reutnr for a Season 8. I was really excited to hear it, and glad to once again take part. With a total of 18 confirmed episodes, its going to be a blast i can tell ! We are hoping to continue into season 9, but if that doesnt happen, there will be 4 special episodes on top of the 24 to conclude the series. I really hope that doesnt hapen because this is an amazing show. Well we started read-throughs about 10 days ago and we start shooting earlier next week. I am sooo extactic and very super excited, because I will take part in a MAJOR storyline in the first few episodes. I just cant wait to film and everyone to see it!wil definately keep EVERYBODY updated, and I am completely happy that it will NOT interfere with my new job on 90210.
