How Do We Say This Delicately???

Filed under: Politik > Barack Obama > Hillary Clinton

wenn-hill-barack__opt.jpg

We think it's time for Hillary to drop out of the race.

Yeah, we said it.

The Democratic party has to rally around the candidate the people have chose, and, by now, it's pretty clear who that candidate is.

    Where Hilary fucked up
    1. She overestimated her likeability. Bill is charming, she is not.
    2. She felt she was entitled to the Presidency, and the arrogance turned even more people off
    3. She took the female vote for granted. A lot of women, myself included, don't like her because she didn't stand up for herself more during the Lewinsky scandal. Hard to believe she'll stand up for me.

I'm not an Obama fan, but, to me, he is a lesser evil than Hilary.

I have to disagree. She is winning the popular vote while Obama has more delegates. If she continues to win the last few primaries like she did Kentucky then there is a small chance she could get the superdelegates to go for her. Personally, I just like her better. She's more experienced and can bring a lot more than Obama.

  7. Monique says – reply to this

    407

Actually, the people's vote is not what matters, as the Bush/Gore election showed. It's all about electoral votes, just like super delgate votes. Let's be honest, people. While the Dems are fighting this out, the Republicans are rallied around a unified candidate. I am a Obama supporter, and I am not some fan girl and I don't think "experience" counts for more when that experience has not all been positive. Also, since when does being the wife of a former carpenter make you qualified to build a house? Let it go, people. It's more than just a question of personality. The woman is a liar and is using disgusting tactics to throw dirt. Anyone who claims "White America" is on their side needs to head back to their home on Racist Island. Thanks.

I just don't get it. Hasn't anyone truly done their homework? Did you read his book/books? Although I admire his honesty, I think Hillary is more qualified. I don't think she should be penalized for not snorting coke, for not smoking pot, or not being "cool' enough, I don't want cool, I want decisive judgements, experience and specifics on policy and procedure. Obama gives a great speech, and he's admirable, just not experienced enough. Go Hillary all the way, fight til the fight is over. OK youngsters, I don't know about you, but in the 90's everyone I knew was making money! It was a great time! A lot of things were accomplished. That administration put more blacks in goverment positions than any other, so remember that all you two faced black stabbing biatches!!!!!!! Hillary should go all the way, trust me there are a lot of voters out there that can't change their vote now that they know the truth about Barack Hussien Obama. Perez are you hitting the pipe again? If she were a man, the pundits wouldn't be saying she should quit. What about us 20 million people out here, still supporting her and still contributing? She should go all the way, she's broke all kinds of records, and she or he could be VP!!!!!! The party will reunite!

He too young, to inexpierenced, HE A RACIST, he's mixed, he has tied to the middle east, he wife has made comments such as this is the first time she is pround to be an american, he refused to hold his hand over his heart wile the anthem was being played. The man that preached to him faith and religion is a racist. too many bad thing.

MCCAIN ALLT HE WAY. WE NEED A REAL MAN INTHE WHITE HOUSE.

    420

Some of you people are so short-sighted and hypocritical, it really is a sign of your lack of intelligence. I believe Hillary euphemistically refers to you as hard-working white people. 1st of all, Hillary running as independent will not only be the death knell for her chances of election this year, it will also be that for her political career. She will never win another elected office outside of recording secretary for NOW. 2nd, the Democratic nomination process has been in place for years. Nobody ever complained it was unfair until this bitter woman wasn't winning. It is a testament to Obama's intelligence and fortitude that he was able to work the system to his advantage to pull out a victory. Hillary on the other hand, in all her entitlement and lack of planning, thought she would have the nomination locked up by Super Tuesday and totally disregarded the caucus states. If the situation were reversed and she had won all of the caucases, best believe she and all of her bitter supporters would be singing a different tune. I hate sore losers. Excuses are the tools of the incompetent, which is why we haven't heard any from Mr. Obama.

  21. Susie says – reply to this

    421

I would never ever vote for Hillary. WHY?

    All she does is lie.
She stayed with a man who cheated on her with many many women. Bill had NO respect or love for Hillary yet she stayed with him for her own political gains. NO MORALS
    All she does is lie.
She's run the most negitive campaign in history.
    All she does is lie.
She can't manage her own campaign let alone a country.
    Did I mention she lies?
She Failed the people of New York as a senator. The state lost thousands and thousands of jobs.
    Nafta
    The war in Iraq
My god, the list goes on and on.
    Again, the lies !
She has divided the democratics more than anyone else.
She is destroying the party, so very selfish.

She can't be trusted to be a president. There's no way she would win in November.
The people won't forget what harm she's done.

  22. Jared says – reply to this

    422

Thanks for the "endorsement." It's nice to see the tide finally turning and in a big way towards the presumptive Democratic nominee. I would encourage anyone who suggests that Obama can't beat McCain to do a bit of reading or check out recent national polls about a McCain/Obama match-up in November. Secondly, it's easy to say that current Hillary supporters wouldn't support Obama in the general but after months of campaigning by McCain and Obama, I'm sure die-hard Dems will feel differently come November.
    Vote for change 2008.

    428

The fact of the matter is that the math shows that she will not win the nomination.

It's admirable that she is dedicated to her supporters, but drawing this out will not benefit the Democratic Party.

Hypothetically speaking, if she decides to run as Independent, as someone mentioned. This will further divide Democratic voters and McCain will most certainly win.

But if she steps out and rallies for the sake of the Party, there is a very good possibility that Obama will beat McCain.

I LIVE IN NYC AND IT IS SCARY HOW EVERYTHING BUSH/REPUBLICANS HAVE DONE HAS AFFECTED THE ENTIRE US/THE WORLD. I NEVER THOUGHT THE ECONOMY AND GAS PRICES AND THE FALLING DOLLAR WOULD VISIBLY CHANGE NYC BECAUSE NONE OF US DRIVE AND WE ARE NOT SEEING MASS HOME FORCLOSURES SINCE MOST OF US PAY RENT. I WILL SAY THAT NOT ONLY ARE PEOPLE SLEEPING IN THEIR CARS ALL ACROSS AMERICA BUT THEY ARE GIVING THEM UP BECAUSE THEY CAN'T AFFORD THE GAS TO DRIVE THEM. AND IN "UNTOUCHABLE" NYC THE EUROPEAN AND ASIAN TOURISTS (ALTHOUGH WE WELCOME THEIR $$ FOR NYC TOURISM) ARE COMING IN MASSES AND BUYING UP ALL OF THE EMPTY NEW REAL ESTATE THAT NEW YORKERS CAN'T AFFORD. WHY IS AMERICA SUDDENLY POOR? PLEASE VOTE OBAMA AND BALANCE OUT THIS HUGE PROBLEM IN THE US. CHANGE WILL BE A POSITIVE ONE!!

Why should she drop out? This is a race and it was meant to be finished! She and millions of people believe she's the best person for the job. Why should she give up? This is a democracy! Until someone wins the race, it's not over! No delegates pledge their votes until August and a lot can happen between now and then. Also, she's ahead in the popular vote, if you count Michigan and Florida. Otherwise, there's less than 1% difference in the popular vote between them. It's still too close to call! She will not drop out nor should she! And she deserves respect for staying in the race. She has genuine concern for this country and has truly made the world a better place. She will not give up on what's best for America! IT'S NOT OVER YET!!! GO HRC!!!

Buying super delegates??) I am a republican, so I should be rejoicing over how she is splitting her party, but I actually care about this country, and am saddened to see these two going at it like they are. . . It takes aways from their stances, ya know? Shame on you Hill!! But as McCain said on SNL this past weekend. . . "Keep on fighting amongst yourselves, all the way to November." :)

    Admitted Lies

    • Chelsea was jogging around the Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. (She was in bed watching it on TV.)
    • Hillary was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. (She admitted she was wrong. He climbed Mt. Everest five years after her birth.)
    • She was under sniper fire in Bosnia. (A girl presented her with flowers at the foot of the ramp.)
    • She learned in The Wall Street Journal how to make a killing in the futures market. (It didn't cover the market back then.)

President Clinton was absolutely right in stating that it is just a fairy tale. mccain will win. Hillary 2012!!!!!!!!!

I disagree. Hillary has won some big states lately. Are you trying to say those people don't matter? I'm tired of people telling me that I MUST rally around Obama if I'm a good democrat. That's stupid. It's comments like that that make me want to vote for McCain.

If it's not gonna be Hiliary representing our party, then just like many other democrats, I will vote for McCain! I'd never vote for Obama. He's a racist and his talk of 'change' is ridiculous. GO HILL!

What good is 35 years of experience, if when you come up to the most important vote in your career (the vote on the Iraq war), you get it wrong!

I'm a traitor..I voted Obama, but after the whole Geraldine Ferraro incident, I'm now on Hilary's side…they just dont know it and a lot of people I have talked to now feel the same…she needs to stick with it!

Well now I am gonna do to you like I did to Move On .org and NARAL - this is the last email, click, I am deleting your website from my favorites. This whole Obama thing will be a huge catastrophe for our country. I am sure Bush will invade IRAQ before he leaves office and we will be screwed if Obama is in there. This country for the third election is a row is crazy and gonna be really sorry! Good luck in your future endeavors.
