Archuleta will win and is the next Clay Aiken. Cook will be runner-up and will be more commercially successful like Daughtry. I wish Cook would win, but he will be better off and have more freedom as runner-up.

David A has an amazing voice. But he is a crooner. I think this gives him and advantage. The song choices for him are easier.
David Cook on the other hand has an edgy rocker voice. Song choices for his type of voice and that are AI material are harder to find.
I like David Cook for the win. He is a better entertainer and more marketable. David A would make a great broadway performer.
Archuletta is just a little freak. David Cook is much more appealing as a star - and more capable of filling the role. Cook is a real person. Archuletta is in every sense still a child and likely abused by his domineering father.
ummm well if you like fucking alternative music then you might like david cook, but he doesn't have any talent- he just uses his raspy nasty alternative voice to cover up for his shitty voice. at least david a has pure talent, even if it isn't your style of music.
I think David A should win. He has vocal ability that will grow in the next few year, while David C is always pitchy and his voice sounds fully developed. Plus, he sounds like a million artists out there. I think when David A finds his voice he will be amazing.
David Cook can perform. David A is such a little pansy. He just stands there and makes puppy dog eyes. Sucks on toast. Of course, the judges and producers have already called it. David A will win, Randy and Simon both basically announced it. VOTE FOR COOK! This season has been such a obvious fix and push job. A shame, David A is totally unmarketable. Can you just imagine the exciting stage show? The little woose just standing there singing dirges.

David cook all the way. I missed the show… cause I was at work.. But David A. sounds the same all the time. If David A. wins he won't go far.
David Cook under performed tonight, I think he forgot it was the finals. David Archuletta out performed him vocally and song choice. They are both very talented but you have to remember when the majority votes are coming from 12 to 17 year old girls it's not hard to figure out the winner.
If I have to see archuleta feign shock one more time when the judges pump sunshine up his ass I think I will puke. I keep waiting for him to rip off his members only jacket and appear in a pair of shorts and suspenders and squeal "i'm a reeeeel boy!". He reminds me of pinocchio. Ugh. Ruben was better than Archuleta. this is such a fix I can't even believe the judges went along with the scripts they were so obviously provided with.
David Archuleta will win, but he won't sell records. Cook totally blew his chance, turning in a so-so performance, with dreadful song choices.
Cook is an original artist who has a sound of his own. Archuleta is a nice kid who has a good voice and should be in a boy band and not headlining. If your voting for the nicer guy its Archuleta, if your voting for which guys album you are most likely to buy then it's Cook.
Simon's comments today in the Ellen DeGeneres show about how Cook should win were completely spot on. I want Cook to win, I think he really deserves it. Unfortunately he played it way too safe tonight. I'm afraid Simon was right when he said that Archuleta won all 3 rounds over Cook.

America will vote David A. because they have been wooed by his little boy deer in the headlights who sings only ballads but is totally not marketable. David Cook hands down is what this program is about taking risks with older songs and making them contemporary. In the long run David Cook will have the career.
David Cook is by far the superior entertainer/singer. David A. is a creepy no personality pod child who will do no better than Jordan Sparks. 17 is too young to be the American Idol nor does he have the charisma or presence to pull it off. David Cook is the total package and he deserves to win!

I think Archuleta is definitely the strongest singer but David Cook is the best all around performer. I would pay money to see David Cook live but would only consider downloading one of Archuleta's songs.

i have been in the music industry for almost 20 years now. Both Davids will have amazing careers, the first two finalists to be able to perform like that. David A will will because he sang amazingly, David C , to me, let the pressure get to him. you could see him take a deep breath after his final performance. He knew he messed up with his song selections. You can all debate and get pissy with each other, but tomorrow night will decide. I congratulate both of them and cant wait to work with them both.

I love David Cook! He actually picked 3 versatile songs while Archuleta stuck with his usual slow ballads. Archuleta has a good voice, but he isn't as flexible with his music as Cook…plus he's creepy looking and David Cook is HOT!
every singly one of David As songs sound EXACTLY the same it is ridiculous. I dont wanna hear that ish on the radio…. I totally thought that Carly Smithson should have had her chance at the final. She is Quite amazing and so real and nice. But alas, in this competition there is a clear winner. That cute little Utah boy sings his ass off while the arrogant Rocker lost his core audience. Simon is right, very very right. It's going to be Archuletta. Cook was trying to lose so he could make an album how he wanted to and not be bound by an AI contract…he's clearly a better performer with better personality. Randy "you were singing the phone book in the zone while your feet were burning in molten hot lava" and Paula "there you were standing in your truth" are fucktards, have been all season, and while simon is nearly always right on with his comments, he was a bit of a fucktard tonight, too. The fix was in for Archuleta, but i'm not sure why…
i go back and forth with these two. orginally, david a. was my favorite because i think he's got a great voice. however, david c. started creeping up to the top of my list because of his performances. so, tonight i just let myself be completely open. while i think david c. was good and i enjoyed his performances (even though i think he held back), i actually had chills from david a. david a. almost always gives me chills. i just don't get the same feeling from david c. i now want david a. to win but will be happy either way.

JASON CASTRO!!!!!! David Cook sounds like every other wannabe rocker who despite years of failing still thinks his band can make it. David A has no personality what so ever and has no chance of selling any contempoary records. If he was selling to an audience of 90 year old men, it'd be perfect. I think whoever wins will pull a Kelly Clarkson and have one successful record then disappear.
DC should win, but I REALLY hope he doesn't so he can move away from the American Idol umbrella — bigger things DO happen when you don't have American Idol contract to fill.

I don't get what everyone sees in Archuleta. Sure he can sing, but he sings the same darn songs every GD time. Then every GD time, Randy and/or Paula tell him that he can sing the phone book and people would listen. Can't they at least think of something else to say? No, because there is nothing new to say about Archuleta since he sounds the same every freakin' week! I started off as a Cook hayta cuz his combover bothered me, but they improved his image and I thought he was definitely the better and MORE ORIGINAL performer!!!!! Archuleta sings the same ballads each week and then always acts so overwhelmed when he gets his feedback, "oh gosh, thanks guys!" so annoying. I hope he loses but I'm sure he is going to win — I think I am done with American Idol. I would never buy that dork's record and neither would any of you, unless you're my mom and love slow, sappy songs from my grandma's retirement home's playlist. YAWN.

I want dc to win. but if he does, he is enslaved to people who are going to make him churn out pop-rock that I don't think he is into. it would break him. that is why castro seriously bailed and I think cook kinda bailed tonight. archuleta is young and easy to groom. I think he will do better in that situation–the one of being the winner. i'd rather see cook make REAL music and not sugar pop….but I think archuleta has a long future in that genre and it suits him. he is young, cute, and has quite a voice; cook is hottttt, talented on many levels, and his voice is unbelievable, just to name a few…if I had room I would type for an hour.

DArchuleta played it safe, including an encore of Imagine. He'll probably win.
I think DC held back because he wants to come in 2nd…Besides Kelly and Carrie, the winner is always cursed. Let DA win because DC will be wayy more successful!
