It's Called Prison - NOT "Vacation Time"!

Filed under: Legal Matters > Nick Hogan

nickhoganjail.jpg

Prison's a bitch, and the latest prison bitch is not feeling it!

According to friends, Nick Hogan is having a hard time in the slammer. It's apparently so bad that he's having troubling forming sentences to convey how he's feeling. The young Hogan didn't realize, til now, how horrible prison life can be.

Boo hoo!

Now he knows how that poor John Graziano, the victim in his car crash, feels!

Because of threats, Nick has been isolated from the general population.

Solitary confinement can fuck you up!

Nick has an 8 month sentence to serve. He started time on May 9th .

Only 7+ more months to go!

I feel so bad for John Graziano. Nick should of gotten more time. John is going to need assistance for the rest of his life. His life could be totally ruined because Nick is a freakin wreakless moron. People like Nick are the reason why car insurance is so expensive in Florida.

Re: lola – I agree. He is just a kid and he made a very bad mistake that he will pay for for the rest of his life. It was an ACCIDENT people. Ya, he was really neligent for speeding, but it's not like he crashed the car on purpose. Jesus, I see these "King of the Road" SUV driving assholes going 20 miles over the speed limit and weaving in and out of traffic. And they're full grown adults. Let him do his time and his probation. Another thing, people are not getting raped in prison nearly as much as others think they are. That is an old, antiquated sterotype that needs to be retired.

I think that both John and Nick are lucky that there were no other innocent victims of their criminal negligence. It is a wonder that this kind of thing didn't happen sooner.
I think that Hulk and his wife were more interested in being friends to their children than parents.
Parents should not be drinking and driving high speed boats with their children. And paying for race cars. And hitting on their kids friends. etc. etc. Dysfunctional. It is as if their children have more sense than they do.
I am sure Hulk would like to rethink his parenting and hopefully he will do so. I would think that their mother could use some parenting skills as well but pretty much she is hopeless.

I will NEVER let anyone ride in my vehicle without making sure they have a seatbelt on! If they don't want to wear one, they can thumb it for all I care! The simple fact is that the BOLLEAS LIED, LIED, LIED about John Graziano's condition in a most foul and premeditated way! Not only did Nick LIE, but so did the whole family! That is why they are such scum! And they will keep on lying! These pics need to be out as long as they choose to LIE!
THE BOLLEAS LIED AND JOHN GRAZIANO IS SCREWED FOR WHATEVER LIFE HE HAS LEFT AS A VEGETABLE! THEY LIED!!!!!

Ok, what kind of stuff were you all doing at 17 years old that makes you think you were any better than he is, he just got caught! He caused a tragic accident because he drove drunk, and now he went to jail. His best friend (who was quite a few years older in age and experience) is messed up for life. What in that entire scenario is all that much different than what many people face everyday. Usually, the person who does the driving, as an underage first offender, does not get all that much jail time. I believe 17 years old- whether it is an excuse or not- is just not enough time to gain the maturity to consider consequences of behavior. Sometimes, 27 years old isn't enough time.

Having worked as a health worker visiting prisons, you would not wish your worst enemy on some of the prison politics that occur especially to 'young' men and first time offenders. I am not only talking about the risk of rape by other inmates, but the ability to access 'favors' from within prison to ensure you can even put your head out the cell for two seconds. This can be something as hard to get protein building formulas for the inmates who pump iron so you are protected. It is not as simple as handing over a cigarette anymore in order to prevent a 'mishap' from occurring. If you are lucky someone may protect you at a price - but the family and friends outside will be hit up by associates of the inmate prepared to protect you. You really have no idea at what occurs inside the big house Perez so stop making fun of a young man and urging him to get an even harder time inside. Yes he made a big mistake, but so did Paris Hilton and she could have easily killed someone DUI and driving unlicensed. As far as I am concerned people who commit such offenses should serve time but in an appropriate setting not full of long termer's that will not help rehabilitation prospects. I have seen it time and time again good young kids who make one mistake and then because of prison experiences eventually end up doing more stints and in some cases become long termers themselves.

I just went to the website that has the pictures posted. IF that is John, what a horrible thing. However, why in the world is there a hole in his skull? Did anyone think to question why he has a hole? Working in the Neurology field, I have seen hundreds, if not thousands, of traumatic brain injured people, and I have never seen some one this far out from the initial accident with non-repaired skull damage that severe. Think for a minute, please! people. Don't believe everything on the internet, don't take pictures as gospel. Also, there are laws protecting patients privacy, so why are there pictures on he internet anyway?

Re: deedee – They lied about his condition repeatedly! They said multiple times that he was going to get better for quite some time! They tried to cover up the drinking issue too! The father also supplied alcohol to his underage kids as well. They lied about that and a whole lot more! And they are scum because they all knew what a hazard Nick was, because they were all doing the same reckless shit he was doing and encouraging him by buying him race vehicles to drive on the street! Lest you forget things like being pulled over 3 times in one day for speeding over 100mph! Or driving thru their neighborhood like it was their own private drift racing track! This was not a mere accident, because he drove like this every time he got behind the wheel! The Bolleas LIED so many times and even Brook lies on her MS page about the truth! They are all SCUM!!!! The truth deserves to come out!

Unlike Lohan, Paris Hilton, and so many others that most people on this website idolize. Was Paris or Lohan involved in a accident… NO, well almost in Lohan's case but no matter they still showed their blatant disregard for the law, and they served a few days or hours in jail. You guys are a bunch of fuckin hypocrites!! And I know what happen to Graziano is horrible, but if I was to jump in a car with someone who was drinking I know I would buckle up or be prepared to face the consequences!!

Nick is lucky he only got 8 months. Suck it up, do the time, and hopefully learn from this mistake.

Re: Jan – Jan, I was an EMT for years and we often saw the results 1st hand of traumatic brain injury! Many times when a person has their skull crushed, the doctors remove the pieces, along with the necrotic brain tissue as well. That is what happened here. If you go to the site and click on the link on that page you can sew in the comments section that the editor got them from the trial. If you have never seen a person missing a part of their skull, including living people, then you must lead a sheltered life, or you are a liar if you claim to be in the field of study you are in! The pics are real and that is what people look like after such an injury! It's not my fault if you don't have a clue!

Re: the EMT person… you probably see the person at the accident scene or immediately after. However, it has been many months since the accident, and certainly the damage to the outer portion of the skull would have been repaired by now. There can not be a hole left in the skull,as any type of minor injury could cause a bleed. If he had ongoing swelling, a shunt would have been inserted and the rest rebuilt using, if not cadaver tissue and bone, then a plate. THERE WOULD NOT BE A HOLE IN HIS SKULL THIS MANY MONTHS OUT FROM THE INJURY! Think!

Re: deedee – Deedee, one of the very 1st things Nick did after the all this was go to more racing shows as a booth person for racing products. Multiple sites showed this. That is a disgusting showing of a lack of empathy. I was somewhat ambivalent about everything until I saw these pics and I think the truth should be known. I also sent these to the other sites I post at including Perez. I understand why they won't post these pics because of their disturbing nature, but they know the truth. There were also many other disturbing things happening after this incident, including Mr. Hogan sending his money to an off shore trust to hide the money from lawsuits that were and are pending. He tried to lie and deny this too. This could have all been prevented if they showed the least bit of concern for how he was driving, but then they all went out AFTER the incident and raced people! Yes, AFTER! I've got to go, but at least some here have now seen the truth a bit more clearly. Good luck!

Re: Jan – I had to come back for this! My mother used to work for a state hospital until she retired and I saw this many, many times! It is not always in the best interest to make such a repair as it is mainly a cosmetic issue. As an EMT, I worked as a firefighter and also did transport on private ambulances which often included facilities dealing with traumatic brain injuries. I know what I have seen and one of my friends is missing part of his skull, 2+ inches, after falling out of a Jeep and the hole is still there and will never be replaced. He just had a Vagus Nerve stimulator surgery done to stop his constant seizures. Now I know you are a liar if you have not seen this before! You confirmed it by making the statement you made! Replacing missing skull and tissue is NOT mandatory in many cases and you are lying thru your teeth if you clam otherwise! Trephining of skull tissue has been done since the Egyptians and any med person worth their salt would know that. I am done with you! Maybe you have some sort of agenda to defend these scumbags? My only reason is to show the truth. You are a LIAR and nothing you say should be trusted! As an EMT, I seem to have more knowledge than you lying ass does! I am done with you! Say what you will to bait me, but I won't discuss things further with someone I know to be a liar! YOU ARE A LIAR!!!!

Re:EMT/ Firefighter person… In case you forget, John has money to make the repairs. Certainly, the money that the insurance is paying + what the Hogans are paying would cover "cosmetic" repairs, which are not cosmetic. Ask your mother. Any person with an injury in a state run facility that has damage to their skull that is not repaired has either Medicaid insurance or is wearing a helmet 24/7. As for your friend with the VNS stimulator, having extensive experience with the reprograming but not the implantation, I know the success rate is impressive. I know the company, Cyberonics, has done a good job in scaling down the implant and giving a better battery live, so your friend should do well. I am not saying John did not have brain injury, I am just saying the pictures are either from when the accident was semi fresh or they are not undoctored pictures. With the resources available to him, there is no way he would still be as damaged LOOKING as he is this far out from the accident. Does that make me a liar- perhaps I am. But I believe I am rational and making sense. Please be less excited, and more thoughtfull on the subject, unless you are a family member, it should not be that personal to you.

Re: He deserves to rot! – There isn't any need to be so rough on Jan. Complications from head injuries and the healing of head injuries can vary greatly from person to person. She may have been just conveying what her experiences have been with some of the people she has witnessed with such injuries. That doesn't neccessarily mean she was purposefully lying. I've been a critical care nurse on the ICU for over 20 years, and have seen some vast differences in the way people heal from almost identical injuries.

Because of her implication that I am not capable of thinking, well, that sort of crap will be dealt with! I know what I have seen, both personally and professionally and I am not exaggerating the truth one iota! My mother was also one of the top patient advocates in our state and I grew up around this sort of thing. I am also well aware of the varying states of recovery, but the neurologists said he has a bleak chance out a good outcome. Their words not mine. I may not have a degree in this particular field of study, but I am a college graduate and will not allow myself to be brow beaten by someone who lacks such critical knowledge and tries to tell me I am ignorant when I have seen this many, many times in life. If anything, I find it a shocking lack of knowledge if has has the knowledge she claims to have- and latter seemed to back off of somewhat. First of all, Nick's blood alcohol level barely registered on the lab report, something like .005; .08 is the legal limit for being impaired in Florida. Second of all, Graziano was, according to HIS BAL, drunker than Nick. Third, Graziano was NOT a kid, he was 23 and a Marine. Fourth, he did not click his seat belt, which is a choice one makes, and his faculties were probably impaired by the alcohol, but the law stipulates that one is responsible for one's actions–Graziano made a conscious decision to drink, and drink enough to make him legally intoxicated, and intoxicated enough to impair judgment, and his judgment was impaired enough that he didn't bother with a seat belt even tho he knew Nick and some other chump were drag racing. So who is at fault here for Graziano's condition? Well perhaps if he'd thought to click his seat belt, he'd be alive, and if he had stayed sober, he might have been able to talk Nick out of racing. Nick was charged with and convicted of reckless driving (because of the high speed), and the judge took into consideration that had he not been doing so there would not have been a fatal accident; he also took into consideration Nick's previous tickets for speeding, and THAT is what got him the 8 months.

Maybe it's me, BUT, didn't Parasite Hilton try the same insanity crap when she was in the slammer for a whopping 20 some days? She conviced so called Dr. that she just couldn't handle it b/c she was to fragile or some shit. She got out and was taken back to the joint within 24 hours, long enough to get a spray tan at her house and throw a party too. Nick Bollea (Hogan) is a textbook "sociopath". Look it it up.

    Re: Rach
"Why is everyone calling John the "victim"? obviously he doesn't deserve to be a vegetable for the rest of his life - BUT he was a willing PARTICIPANT in the illegal street racing. Just because he wasn't holding the wheel doesn't mean he wasn't just as wrong as Nick Hogan. Its a shame his life was ruined, but he wasn't 100% innocent. His neglect put other lives in danger just as much as Hogan."

Because Perez wants HITS to his site. And honesty simply wont buy that.

Everyone is responsible for their actions. I hope that is the message you want to convey right Perez?

Re: Rose – I agree with Rose. I did A LOT of stupid things when I first started driving. My friends and I used to race back from lunch and I almost hit a school bus b/c I was speeding. I'm sure he's sorry for what happened and I think he's learned his lesson.

Yeah, one of those stupid things was when you gave the dude on the passenger seat a BJ whil giving a handjob to the jock on the backseat.

What if Hogan, and his "victim" John crashed into a different car holding an innocent mother, and baby? If their illegal speeding/racing caused brain damage to the infant they would BOTH be held legally responsible. I am happy a sceanrio where someone completely innocent life was taken away instead. They were two responsible for this crash, and their stupid decision to be wreckless. They had disregard for others lives, and their own! The punishment for both is hard (esp. John), but it is a lesson learned for sure.

Didn't you ever drive like an ass when you were 17! I did. I was lucky enough not to hurt anyone. It was an accident. He's a foolish kid! We all were! He doesn't deserve to be in jail. It was an ACCIDENT! He made a bad decision. It wasn't deliberate. I really feel for him and his family. There are murders walking the streets and this kid had an accident b/c of poor decision making and he's in jail! Bull…

Someone should be in jail for posting the pictures of someone who has no ability to consent. What a violation.

What planet are ya'll living on? There is no way he will do 8 months. He will spend 5-6 mths with good behavior.

Why should anyone care whether he is "suffering"? Choose the action, Choose the consequence.

Time to grow the fuck up!!!!!!!!!

Re: He deserves to rot! – 8 months in prison will allow him to think about all of his actions. I think it is good that he will be apart from his parents and hopefully he will gain some insight. Hopefully something good will come of this.

This boy is getting special treatment in the Pinellas County Jail. He is kept away from the general inmate population. He is getting special work details. His family visits him through a different door than the other prisoner's families. He has completed about 3 weeks and will never serve the entire 8 months, he will be out in about 3 or 4 months with good behavior. I do not feel sorry for him, his friend John will spend his lifetime in a coma because Nick's parents raised one spoiled child and did not teach him real life. He didn't want to finish high school, he parents said ok. You want to race drift cars, his parents said ok. You want to build a fast car to drive on the streets of Clearwater, his parents said ok. You want to drink and drive, I guess that was ok to. This boy needs a reality check.

Obviously him not being able to form his sentences is just a 'show'. He should have thought about that before he got into a car drunk thinking he was cool and showing off. He will be let out of jail next month probably.

    189

Yes, that is right, no one here has ever sped or ever done something stupid. Sure, he did it with his friend in the car but I know that he was cheering him on and loving every minute of it. This is life, sometimes it is f*cking cruel and harsh.
Have none of you ever been in a street race? Yes, it is stupid but it happens. However, his passenger John was not wearing his seatbelt. If he had, his injuries might not be as bad. So, Nick should not bare all the blame. Come on people…all so innocent, haha, whateva.

Split up….then Hulk violates his own daughters trust and bangs her friend. Not pretty. He is better off in jail with limited visitation from these two screw ups for parents. Hopefully they will get a reality check and start behaving responsibly.

Re: agent smith – Street racing is against the law. If you can afford to customize your car for racing then you can afford track time. They are both lucky that they didn't kill innocent people with their criminal negligence.
    STREET RACING IS A CRIME.
POLICE SHOULD CRACK DOWN ON THIS AND SHOW NO MERCY. It's fairly obvious by the appearance of the customized cars what these people are doing. I don't understand why more isn't done about it.

This whole family is fucked up like a soup sandwich. Bottom line is John Graziano has to live as a vegetable for the rest of his life and poor little Nicky has to sit in a tiny little cell without his fast cars and fancy house. I have no sympathy for this little shit, his dad the adulterer, his sister the wanna be or his mom the enabler/gold digger. The fact is had John not survived he would have been in jail much longer. Instead that poor kid will never live a normal life again and Nick got off lightly because he didn't kill him. Hey Nick- don't drop the soap. Your ass is really tight the first time your cherry gets popped. OUCH!

He is lucky to have that room. Lucky to be in solitary-as hard as that must be-at least he doesn't have to be subject to the prison social strata. However, he still needs a GIANT dose of humility and doesn't appear to be getting it.
Hmmm…I wonder what might help Nick become more selfless, more humanitarian, and more humble.
ApPARENTly his education did not work. His family did not help. And he still deludes himself into having a puffed-up self image. Not sure he is ever going to get it.
A life sentence of being a clueless douche is not harsh enough.

I'm from Clearwater where the accident took place and actually saw the crime scene it was a horrible and I do feel like Nick is paying for his terrible mistake! I also know the boy that was in the car with Nick and he also enjoyed racing cars just as much as Nick did so I really don't feel like Nick is all to blame!
