It looks like the ratings are dropping hard for MTV's biggest scripted show, The Hills.
Viewership for last week's season finale were at a disappointing 3.8 million! That's a good one million below the show's December finale and its return in March.
Are people getting bored of the usual script or are they finally starting to realize that there's no reality in it????
Oh well, it seems like the ladies from The Hills might have to get a real job soon!
But what will they do for a living?
Did any of them finish college????
Do any of them have "real" work experience and not just The Hills staged work experience?
Where will the cast from The Hills end up?
Probably in another spin-off show with a new title.

This show used to be the best reality show, but this season it just got really lame! Especially the Heidi and Spencer parts, they're so obviously scripted! I absolutely cannot stand Lo. The only ones I like are Audrina and Whitney and neither of them get that much air time. Plus the Lauren/Heidi feud is getting so old! I used to never miss an episode, now I couldn't care less about the show!

HAHAH He received a 'degree' in acting. That's not a 'degree'. It does not count if are up against people for a real job and they are all college graduates and you are too, but your diploma is for drama. So yes, I do have a college degree and yes it is something legitimate and yes I will be ok for the rest of my life. But, Perez…might want to consider what exactly he has going for him in the long run just like the people he seems to question.
Ugh.. the ratings are decreasing because the show sucks now. Everyone was hooked when Lauren and Brody were somewhat together now she doesnt so who is suppoed to be the new "eye candy" please dont tell me its Spencer. Also, Lauren was everyones sweety but now she turned out to be 1- a hypocrite and 2- really f'd up that she made plans to move into a new house prior to tellign her roomie and then moved someone else in and practically left Audrina in the dust.. shes wack and now the show is too..
The Hills is the best show MTV ever put on! The reason why the finale wasnt highly rated is because not enough drama was going on. In the premiere Lauren was going to Paris and everyone wanted to see her there. The finale was good but it could have been better. I don't understand why they ended it I feel like the season just started. My advice is get rid of Speidi and the ratings will go up again. Team Lauren!!!

As a viewer I am slowly having distaste for Lauren…You see how conniving she really is. She loves the fact that she is getting under Spencer and Heidi's skin by hanging out with Stephanie. She's a bitch to Audrina. Her sidekick Lo is purposely trying to get in between Lauren and Audrina.

Did you not know that all scripted shows ratings are down, its the first time in years that at least one scripted show did not end up with at least 20million viewers averaged for the season. CSI losts 28% viewership so The Hills is right on par. Damn writers strike, they need to get back on their game.
Lauren is still in college right? And she has her own clothing line and also works at teen vogue. Whitney graduated college. And Audrina and Heidi both have jobs that have nothing to do with the show…so what the hell. Do you know what your talking about???

They do have "real" experience….e.x. lauren has worked for teen vogue plus she is at this other fashion place with Whitney (forgot the name of it). She has her own fashion line too. Audrina is starting her career in acting. So yeahhh they are going to be more successful than you think even if The Hills is dropped from mtv.
I'm not a fan of the show, but it's pretty fairweathered of you to bash the show as soon as ratings drop. I mean, you've been raving over whose team you're on & how entertaining the latest news on the characters is for the last while.

2. LC is the laughing stock of her school! She takes ONE CLASS per semester; has little, if any talent, compared to her fellow students–and it shows in her classes; and no one there can stand her because she makes school look like a joke. If YOU'D been to college (maybe you'll go after you're done with middle school and high school), you'd know that even art schools DO NOT work that way. Also, no REAL professor would EVER allow the texting and talking that Lauren does during class!
3. Laren's "fashion line" was slammed by MANY critics–people who know fashion–because it's boring, over-priced, and unoriginal. If you want to really learn about how to create fashion, watch the TRUE talents of "Project Runway"!

In my opinion The Hills lacked new ideas this season. I think Lo secretly desires to be famous but she lacks personality and looks. She's just not star quality. I think it's time Lauren and Heidi go to couples couseling and get help or go there seperate ways. Heidi, Spencer and Lo all ride on Lauren's coat tail. Heidi doesn't need Spencer either, she would be a bigger star without him. He's a worthless douche. Audrina and Whitney have enough charism to stand on there own. How long will the show last with the same tired plot line.

The first season I watched because I wanted to see how Lauren did in LA. The second season I watched b/c I wanted to see if Brody Jenner and Lauren would make a love connection. This last season was AWFUL. I have no idea why I watched ; ) It's like, oh yeah, Lauren is living in LA and working in fashion/going to school . . . same ole, same ole . . . well, first of all the hill is awesome.
the only reason why the number of how many people watched it went down, is only becuase people don't watch the hills by them self anymore. you watch the hills by your self and your a loner. people go out with there friends. the have a huge hills party. so that means less t.v.'s are being used. which makes the number go down. there might be one t.v. but 10 people watching on that t.v. so this could be totally wrong.

I am honestly a huge fan of the hills but seriously I can't watch it on MTV, it drives me up the wall! The commercials are nuts, theres like so MANY!!!! Oh and dont get me started on the hosts, I wanna shoot them! They repeat themselves way too many times and there just plain annoying so the reason I think thats the reason the ratings are dropping! I stopped watching the hills after little by little things weren't as "reality" as it seemed. The shows a fraud, the girls are frauds and they need to get off there lazy asses and actually get a real job, cause the show sucks now and it's tired…..
