Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler has checked in to Las Encinas Hospital, the rehab facility where Dr. Drew practices in Pasadena, CA.
When contacted, Tyler's reps had no comment.
It's not clear what Tyler checked in to battle, though it is reported to be "substance" abuse.

I just read that he is being treated for Hep C with interferon and was thinking about going on Oprah and talking about it.
It was on the people magazine website.
Anyways…..if this is true….hope that he gets well soon.
He is a warrior so I am sure he will kick ass.

Steven Tyler is STILL ON HEROIN ?AT 60?this guy is almost my mom's age and i find it kinda strange for s/o to take so hard drugs at this age.i guess you can't be that skinny if you r not on junk(the truth is only addicts are so thin).good luck to him cos we all know heroin is such a bad disease.

I saw him at Coachella in April in the VIP area, he was drunk and drugged out beyond belief and could barely walk. He was being really gracious though and taking pictures with people. He eventually left because, as he told everyone, he "had to go get his dick sucked" and "had to go get laid". I'm glad he's finally getting help.
Steven Tyler is so talented and sexy and hope he has a great recovery! =)
