Archuleta was the stronger singer, and he outclassed Cook in the finals. The title winner doesn't always end up with higher sales (Taylor Hicks), and just maybe Archuleta will sell more because people know he was robbed.

I think the younger David should blame it on his dad. Once it came out about his father ..That did him in.. Both were amazing but David Cook was the only one I could see being a real well rounded performer. He deserved it, and anyways most of the successful ones in the past didn't even win the competition! How many American Idol winners are really still around, well known, and doin their thing? not many.

I think the right David won. I really liked David Archuleta, but he wasn't as versatile as David Cook. So I'm pretty happy. Both of them are going to have careers so it's not a big deal.

Even though I didn't watch this season's AI I heard great things about David Cook. But with AI, you kinda don't want to win because only a few make it big as the Idol winner. Your best bet is to lose and then you're more successful. Look at Chris Daughtry (whom I love so much) and Blake Lewis, Katharine McPhee (for a lil bit though) and some of the others. Let's just hope he stays an Idol winner like Fantasia, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Jordin Sparks.
