I am a David Cook fan and I would just like to say that I think the negative, hostile attitudes of the Archuleta fans is completely disgusting. You guys have turned into the Claymates! I have noticed a lot of over the top behavior from the Archies for several weeks now and I personally think part of the reason Archuleta lost by such a large margin is not a reflection on his talent but a reflection on America's disgust with the excessive fandom. You guys are HURTING Archuleta's career prospects so why don't you just be gracious and congratulate David Cook? Archuleta will have a fine career in spite of the loss so there is really no reason for this especially in light of the nice things David Cook has been saying about Archuleta over at Mtv.com. David Cook has done nothing to anyone so why all the hate?

I think both David's are amazing. Personally I love love love D. Cook. He is amazing and inspiring and he gives me chills some times. That Mariah Carey song!! Ohmigod! Archuleta is great too. But he's like Michael Bolton. I'm not a Michael Bolton fan…his adult contemporary style is just not my thing. He'll do great, just like Clay, in the right audience. But like Carrie and Daughtry, Cook will hit it big on the charts that get the biggest audience.

Did you see when David Cook was singing, how he welcomed David A to sing with him. That is a real idol. Someone who is sharing his glory with the runner up. It made me tear up slightly.

Both Davids are talented but David Cook had something about him from the moment he walked out on that stage…he's the rightful winner as he is the total package. Archuleta needs a little more developing. Right now he's good for High School Musical or something else Disney which, for a average kid is still not a bad deal. I will be searching for David Cook on iTunes because I can't wait to see what he's going to do next!

I think that America got it WRONG WRONG WRONG. David Archuleta needed this way more than Cook did. Now the record producers won't take Archuleta as seriously, and it will be hard for him to be successful because of his age and personality. However, Cook would have been successful regardless because of the recent Daughtry success. Plus, it would have been HILARIOUS to watch David Archuleta freak out when he won. He would have A.
