    Thank God David Cook won! He is truly one of the most talented Idol's ever and I think he will do very well commercially as long as Clive Davis doesn't screw him up. David A. was just too bland.

I'm extremely disappointed, and hope all the Cook fans will now shut up about how the Cook phone lines were down last night, and how it would all be so convenient for Archuletta.     i stopped watching when Brooke was voted off. Should have been her or Carly or Michael Johns! Both Davids were crappy. And David Cook is so freaking ugly and annoying (in my opinion. I know everyone thinks he's hot)…This is the first season I've ever watched and the past 5 weeks have sucked. This show needs a makeover or just to end.

    i personally thought david archuletta was the better singer, however he was a tad annoying with his sheepishness. david cook was good but his style seemed too outdated for me as if he'd have been great in a glam rock band like bon jovi or white snake.

    Yes, Cook was the right choice. He is new, hip, innovative, fun, cute, and all around a great American Idol. Archie was great too, but - I think he lacked STAR quality. Both will go far, but Cook was MOST DEFF the right choice! :)
