As we mentioned a few days ago, reports have surfaced that Shania Twain's marriage to music producer Mutt Lange ended due to his affair with their secretary and house manager, Marie-Anne Thiébaud.
Well, now Marie-Anne is speaking out!
And she doesn't DENY sleeping with Mutt!
When contacted at home, Marie-Anne said, "I know what you're ringing to ask me about. But, when marriages break up they break up for all sorts of complicated reasons, it's never just one reason. And those reasons should be kept private."
Yea, well that's hard to do if you're married to a famous singer like Shania. The people want to know!
"Adulterous" Anne-Marie continues, "If you're looking for a person that broke up a marriage then you have the wrong person. I'm not that person."
Interesting.
So she claims she didn't break up the marriage, but she never says she didn't sleep with him. Maybe she thinks he was unhappy and that's why the relationship ended? Not due to the fact that he cheated on his wife right?

Marie-Anne also said she no longer works for the soon-to-be-divorced couple, and then declined to answer any more questions.

Have you seen any recent pictures of Mutt Lange? He's almost 20 years older than Shania and ugly as a mud fence. All that aside, it was him that did the cheating after all.

PUHLEAZZZZE - I married a man who I met at the end of his 12 yr marriage…He'd tried to leave on many occasions..We just passed 11 yrs together. I'm not that amazing - he was that unhappy. NO ONE knows the real SHANIA, we know what we've seen. NO ONE can break up a perfectly happy union… Obviously, there were issues or this woman would not be in the picture. It's wrong, I agree, but - stop blaming her, Shania and Mutt needed to get real - the other woman is just "fallout"
Oh and by the way - bring on a HOMEWRECKER - in my home, they couldn't get in. A happy man/woman wouldn't look twice.

Saw the picture of the "other woman." She's not as ugly as everyone has been saying. Besides, an affair has more to do with feelings than it does with looks. Everyone seems to have an opinion about the woman being the homewrecker but as several posters pointed out, no one held a gun to Mutt's head and made him get involved. If he was in a happy marriage, he wouldn't be looking elsewhere. That doesn't mean it's Shania's fault. IT TAKES TWO, just as Shania wrote about in her song. It takes two to make a marriage work. It takes two to wreck a marriage. No one is innocent. I find it difficult to believe she was as blind-sided by his affair as the reporters have stated. Spouses have a sense when things are going bad. The saddest part, which no one seems to be talking about, is their child. Eja is the one who will suffer the greatest for his parents' split.

Christ! Shania is like the most beautiful, most charming, sweetest woman in the world and she so loved her husband. She just melt for him and they had that sweet old fashioned thing going on. How could he turn around and do this? I guess good people are put to the test all the time in life. I'm sorry this happened to you Shania. She's always been devoted to family. She also wanted more kids but she was lucky enough to at least get one, stupid Mutt Lange. What's his son going to think?
