She seemed like a beautiful spirit.
Thankfully, this video exists and her memory lives on!

Thank you for posting this. I have been going to his concerts for 20 years. They are an incredible family. They live a great life and they show deep love for everyone. Not all Christians "hate" gay people. I have many gay friends and they say that I am the only Christian who will have anything to do with them and that is sad. And I am one of those evil Baptists. While a lot of content on the site offends me, I don't look at the content that does. I love the movies and entertainment and that is why I read your site. Jesus came for all of us, loves all of us and we all make "lifestyle" choices that are displeasing to God. Whether or not I agree, someone's lifestyle does not in my book or God's book, make them "less" loved or less deserving of love. We are all imperfect. Saying bad things about this family or Christians at this time shows a very, very, evil inside. God does hate that. We should care because we are all members of the human race. We all weep and bleed. Once again, thank your for posting this, Perez. Please pray for SCC and his lovely family. It is hard to let someone go.

his song, "cinderella" was the one song that makes me cry, in a good way and reminds me of my sister.. i listened to it all the time in the weeks after she passed away in january 2008. it breaks my heart to know that maria will never progress to the full on cinderella he sings about, but she's a princess now tht she's with her king

Do you even realize that there are actually "death rooms" in these orphanages? They live babies and children in those rooms to starve to death!!!! Even if she was lucky enough to have survived the orphanage - living on the streets selling her body, becoming a drug addict, getting beaten and rape and living out of a garbage can is better than having a family. Do you even know what orphanage life is like? Have you ever set foot in one? I have and believe me - being adopted is better.
That's great - leave the orphans where they are so that even if they don't die from lack of food, care and medicine - let them live on the street where they can get killed by someone, OD on drugs, get AIDS, and die of exposure and other horrid nightmarish things…

I think it's awful what some of you guys are saying. This family lost their little girl. Regardless of how you feel about their religion an innocent life was lost, and I think some of the comments made have been very disrespectful. I hope the Chapman family can find hope and peace through all this, especially for their son. I can't imagine what he must be feeling at this time.
I am truely stunned at what some of you "people" are writing about the death of an innocent child. It really scares me to think that this is what our world has become. I'm not going to sit here and say that I hope it happens to you or talk about Karma..because I DON'T want this to happen to you. No one should ever have to feel the pain of losing a child. This was a precious little girl so full of life and love and now she is gone. If you can make light of that or make jokes and say horrible things about her passing, then I feel sorry for you. Deeply sorry for the horrible existence you must be living here on Earth. You really are to be pitied just as much as if you had lost a child.
May God guide the Chapman's through this dark and tragic time. May time help to heal the wounds. I know life will never be the same for them without their precious, beautiful little girl. She's an angel now…God bless you and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

This is just terrible news. Her brother hit her with a car on the way to a graduation party with their family. It is sick and disgusting to read some of the comments written. She was a lively girl on SCC's website this is the video they chose to remember their daughter by. The fact that people are using this time in their lives to bring religion is a sick person, she was created by god himself. They seem like such a loving family. think of there family, think of her parents, think of her newly engaged sister, and most of all thnk of how horrible that her brother feels right now.
the people making mean and disrespectful comments should be horribly ashamed of themselves.
To lose a child in such a tragic way, in any way really, is a heartbreaking situation. And people should have the decency to behave better and keep their dirty mouths shut.

Christians know that Christ/God does not hate gays, or thieves or adulterers or liars or gossips or name your sinner here. He is a God of love and forgiveness, no matter what your sin.
He hates all sins equally, equally loves all His faithful and forgives all His flock who ask for His forgiveness of their sins.
If we sincerely try to change the sinful ways in ALL of our lives (not just gays, by the way), He will forgive us over and over again.
The down side is, if you are BS-ing Him, He knows that, too.

I've noticed the changes you are making slowly but surely–more new music stuff, more links to charities, maybe a little less doodling. Sure, this is still a loony H-wood site, but dare I say it??? You're growing and using some of your powers for good. Keep it up!

Reading some of the heartless comments on here about that precious little angel make me realize just how evil and sad our world is becoming. Of course this is all biblical and God tells us through His word that Satan is around everywhere. I also have read some beautiful and loving comments by very kind and compassionate people. It just reminds me that God is everywhere as well and He is in all of us if we allow Him and accept Him into our hearts as the ONE Lord and Saviour. I just saw him in concert about a month ago and all he can talk about was his 3 adopted girls. You can tell that Maria was his favorite. We need to keep this family in our prayers regardless of your arguments on why you think God allowed this. The fact is that this family lost a child. Please show some respect

Se was 5 years old. Hours before her death the Chapman family was celebrating the engagment of their daughter Emily. when their son pulled in the drive way he didn't see her and the car struck her.
