She seemed like a beautiful spirit.
Thankfully, this video exists and her memory lives on!

perez ur annoying the only reason you post these videos on here and the worthwhile cause posts is so people wont think ur a cold unsensitive bastard just take this video off because i come to your site to hear funny gossip to make me laugh not to hear about a 5 year old girl getting run over in her driveway by her brother, now you have depressed me and im not coming back to your site for a couple days youve made it awkaward and uncomfortable

Stephen and his family are truly loving and caring people who has been the victims of a terrible tragedy. This video was posted on his website as a memorial to the beautiful little girl. As you can see, she was beautiful, vivacious, bubbly and a true joy who will be terribly missed. For those people who find some cruel amusement in taking a horrible tragedy and using it to promote their own beliefs or prejudices, may I remind you that this is a little girl that died. Maybe that fact doesn't reach your heart through the cold glow of computer screen but it is an event that deserves respect, even if that means just a click of mouse that will guide you to another website where evil and vile comments may pour from your fingertips. My thoughts and love go out the Chapman family, a group of extraordinary people who love and care for others no matter what their religion may be.
You people are fucking sick, sad, and evil. I hope those of you posting hateful shit on here about this poor little girl or her family lose someone dear to you. It's the very least you subhumans deserve!
My heart goes out to the family with every ounce of respect. My prayer is that Maria, while now absent from this earth, is living a happier life in heaven. God be with you all during this difficult time. Perez, I think your tribute and Memorium was loving. I would rather focus on her laughter and enjoying time with her Mum and Daddy (as in this video) than on her tragic death.

1. Don't go hating on Perez ! Remember good or bad you come to this site !!! This particular post clearly shows respect for the content of the post and i'm sure the family who posted the same video on youtube are happy for people like myself, who have no idea of who these people are, to get an opportunity to see how beautiful there daughter was.
2. I doubt Perez has the time or ability to delete posts and continually monitor what is being said. Sure there are some right losers who want to vent there hate and ignorance by mocking the awful tragedy of a young 5 year old girl dying but right or wrong i like the fact everyone has an ability to have a say. With that said it doesn't mean we have to avoid or compromise on the fact that these numbskulls are just pure dirt but once again don't come down on Perez cause this world has it fair share of idiots and he can't be held responsible for them.
3. Regardless of ones relgious, race or moral beliefs a 5 year old girl got killed here people and regardless of whether one knows the person, family or community that should still be mourned and respected. Thankfully only some of the comments seem to be vile while many are full of well wishes and respectful. I also believe that 50 percent of the vile comments are simply to get a raise by coward people hiding behind their computer while the other 40 percent think it is somewhat kool to be mocking death which makes them losers. The other 10 percent are just socio-pathic !
Wow, everyone should just CHILL. Perez is trying to pay respects….in case you haven't noticed aside from gossip, he posts things that are interesting as well as ads for worthwhile causes. Relax.

So sad, she was just a little older then my own daughter so it really hits home for me. She was beautiful & to die so young & tragically is terribly terribly sad & senseless. I know the parents are very religous & hopefully that will help them thru this, I on the other hand beleive religion is the crutch of the weak & that if there were really a God, this wouldnt have happened in the first place. It certainly shouldnt happen in a family that is so religous if there is a real God. But theres not, shes not in heaven she just dead, its so so so sad beyond words. RIP little Maria
Because there is a God this little girl is now in Heaven. Because her family believes in Christ as their Savior they will be reunited with her again. The horrible comments made about this are evidence of a Godless society. Yes there have been compassionate remarks made by people that do not believe in God and their kindness is a wonderful thing but for the the most part these comments represent what a heart is like when the Holy Spirit does not live in it. They true character of these bloggers have come out here. It is sickening to read this stuff. For all of you that have showed mercy…..Christian or not, may God bless you.

After all the positive press you have been getting for being a 'good-hearted' gossiper, we get this disturbing thread of hatred and insensitivity festering on your site. You know what. Thank you Perez. For once I have to say you did a good thing. Death is hard. I lost both my parents when I was a teen but you know what God gives us amazing people in our life to bless us. Remember you all ,no one is promised tommorow. For the first time Perez you are sharing with the World that Jesus lives. We can not question what we do not understand but all I can say is I kow that my savior lives. Steven and his family believe in the same God that I do and they too will make it. So people it is time you give Perez a break. Words of hate does not and will not bring her back and her life did not represent hate but love.

what sickens me the most is the comments that i read on here… this man lost his daughter that he obviously loved… do any of you know what its like to go through life knowing that you lost at child? can you imagine how her brother felt knowing he was behind the wheel of the suv that hit her? making ignorant comments isnt doing anything but showing God how much lesser of a person you are and when youre laying on your death bed, you better hope and pray like hell that He is willing to forgive you for the ultimate slap in the face. -People need to know that christians have hard times…just because we believe in God does not mean we will have a perfect life. We are tested…it sucks but that's why I believe in God. I know there is hope for life after death when things like this happen. I don't think there would be any worse feeling in the world than not having hope.
after i heard the news, i'm thankful this was posted in good light, at least. for whoever sees this, you don't have to know who steven curtis chapman is or need to have a place in religion- just see what one more precious life was lost. i come from a conservative upbringing and grew up listening to chapman, and though i'm not as innocent now as i was when i was 12, i remember there was nothing steven or his family ever did to deserve judgment in the public light. i don't know chapman or his family or anything, but just wanna say that just because people have heard one thing or another about certain christians, they don't speak for everyone, certainly not steven, so please don't judge him and his family. no matter what you believe, i think we can all agree that life is too short to judge and hate.. i dont mean to sound cliche, but i guess coming so close to death myself, i have to learn to appreciate life and those around me more. that's all.
He's an awesome man. They are an awesome family! God will pull them through this horrible tradgedy.

This is a human life, an innocent girl and her innocent family. You could only be so cruel if you have no love in your lives to compare the loss to.
I have a 5 year old daughter, and nothing breaks my heart more than this story right now. Horrible accident, I just pray and hope they remain strong. I can't even imagine the pain they must be in right now, my thoughts are with them.
This is terribly sad but I know there are major miracles happening in Florida. 13 people have been raised from the dead because of Jesus's healing power. One 3 year old girl was pronouced dead for 2 days and just as they were bringing her to surgery to harvest her organs she coughed and was alive again. I know that they are praying for her and even if its not meant to be, at least she is in a good place. Interested, go to god.tv and see for yourself the many miracles God is preforming.

This a beautiful video of a beautiful little girl in a loving family. I am truly saddened by this story. God is with her now, and her family will be with her someday. We should all be lucky enough to know that we will be in Heaven too.

even as i read these horrible comments, I'm thankful for the huge amounts of positive, kind comments. It surprised me actually - I actually expect mostly horrible comments… because ultimately there are always the ones that lag behind, ones that are slower, the bad apples in every bunch..and the people that posted the crappy comments are the bad apples. I expected to see their comments, and almost..think nothing of it. One day, each of those cruel individuals who posted their comment will be judged. In the meantime, I will say that, as a bearer of love and not hate, God still loves them..and you, no matter how crappy of a person you are… or think you are.

I worked for an interior design firm in Nashville back in the early days of his success.
He and his wife had a new baby and a new home. They were sweet, genuine people
and from this video I would say they have not changed from that. And by the way,
God does not "kill" anyone. This is part of life and it only shows us that no matter what our faith, no matter how good or bad we are, life happens to us all.
