The LA Times (of all places) is reporting that Nicole Kidman is due to pop in 6 weeks.
WTF?????
Her baby is going to be a miniature!
The pic above was snapped just last week.
She doesn't look almost 8 months along!!!!!!
Even Nicole Richie was bigger than that!
Lucky Nic. she won't have to work too hard to burn off the baby blubber.

honestly, my cousin was like that too, her bump was so small just like that and she was like late in her pregnancy. it was so weird! her baby is healthy though. so i guess some women just dont blow up as much? who knows.
Nicole looks beautiful, healthy and radiant! My Mother actually lost weight with me and I was born weighing 8 lbs. When you are tall and lean you don't always grow huge with pregnancy. She has worked out and kept to a very healthy diet. Good for Nicole!
i just posted but it looked like it didnt work, so umm i was gonna say honestly my cousin was like 8 months pregnant, and her bump looked 5 month too. it was so small! and her baby turned out healthy and everything, but not until did i know that some women i guess just don't show as much. it's weird.

I think her pregnancy is a fraud and that she has a surrogant mother on stand by while she walks around perfectly with her fake maternity stomach. She is way to vain to actually give birth to a child. Maybe she can't have babies isn't that is why Cruise left her? I bet one week after the baby is born she'll be a perfect size 0 and her stomach will be perfectly flat since she really isn't carrying a baby.
O.k. Perez, do some research here. Tall women do not usually carry the same way short women do….the two Nicoles are almost a foot apart in height. I'll be willing to bet that the baby Kidman is carrying is going to be of normal weight when born. Leave her alone….
Many times very tall women will not show much because the baby has more room in the torso. This is her first pregnancy too so she won't be as big. I am happy for her after all of the miscarriages to be able to experience pregnancy.

I wouldn't expect you to understand female pelvic anatomy. Some women (about a quarter) have an inverted uterus, where it is tipped toward the back rather than the front, so the tummy doesn't get as large.
Are you sure she's even pregnant? What if that's a pillow or sth and she's adopting but not wanting to make it public…?
I am 6 feet and always been pretty thin. When I was three weeks from my due date, I showed as much as Nicole does there. My OB guessed the baby would be about 7.5 lbs. When he was born he was 9 lbs 4 oz. I carried him towards my back, and he just never really showed. I had some maternity pants, but mainly just wore my regular yoga pants and other stretch pants my entire pregnancy. Some women are just lucky in that way, although they pay for it in other ways (believe me).

I'm 5'11" and my best friend is 5'10"—you could barely tell either of us were pregnant….being tall is what does it—much roomier for the baby.
Keep in mind she is 6 FEET TALL !!! the add weight is not so noticable on her as say the 5'2 Nicole. 5lbs looks like a lot on someone that size. it is nothing on someone 6 feet

OMG I friend of mine told me that Nicole Kidman had an abortion when she ws 19 years old. She told me that Nicole Kidman knows damn well that that is the reason for all her miscarriages, she told me that she hopes that her child comes out healthy because many abortion mothers run the risk of a deformed child too. If you eat like a hog you will gain weight pregnant or not. While it is true gestation size rates vary from women to women. BUT those who immediatly assume ones the dna splits to eat "for two" should keep in mind the second part of that equation is about the size of a grape/peach till the 5 month. And any OBGYN will tell you to eat only an extra 500 calories a day. THAT IS FOR A WOMEN OF GOOD HEALTH AND WEIGHT. If you drink the suggested 3 glasses of milk a day. You have already consumned ALL tha calories you need to keep your baby healthy. A healthy pregnacy requires weight can of between 18-28 pounds. Those hollywood women who appear to get super skinny right after birth are the ones who gained a normal amount of weight. Of the 18-28 pounds (based on height) on 5-8 pounds is fat, the rest is lost in birth stuff. (placent, fludis, baby) the last is blood that your body assimilates after birth since during pregnancy you blood volume almost doubles !!

She's really tall and her torso is really long so the baby has more room to grow up and not out. I'm as far along as she is, but only 5'3” so my bump sticks out a lot more than hers. It all depends on how you're built.

A baby at that stage of pregnancy can grow 3 pounds of weight in those last 6 weeks- nicole is naturally thin as is her husband- so her baby may or may not weigh as much as others. Plus she is TALL enough- way taller than Nicole Richey- that baby has A LOT of room vertically to stay tucked in closer. It's her first, so her abdominal muscles are much stronger. She definitely looks 7 1/2 months pregnant. And she looks great.

I, too, am thin like Nicole Kidman and I eat all the time. You know, you would never walk up to some one and say Damn you fatass but people think it's ok to tell someone they are to thin. PISSES ME OFF!!!! I gave birth to 2 very healthy (one was 7lbs 3oz at full term and the other was 6lbs 8oz and he was 4 weeks early) babies and with both pregnancy I gained around 15 pounds each time!!! Don't always assume someone is staving themselves just because they are thin.

Yes some tall women have a small bump when they are REALLY pregnant……BUT take a look at the photo, see the piece of the dress just above the start of her belly? See how the fabric is tucked into the edge of the pregnancy padding she is wearing? That is not a tuck sewn into the fabric, nor a gather, nor a pleat not even a drape…it is clearly tucked in around the edge of something. I still haven't seen a pregnant woman that has an edge to her stomach that she can tuck fabric around. It is a false pregnancy pad just like the one Bree wore in Desperate Housewives or more likely just like the pregnant pad Katie Holmes wore during her fake pregnancy as Tom Cruise's current "wife"

I was no bigger than that in a pic I took at 37 weeks pregnant - when my baby was born 2 weeks late (so 5 weeks after that pic was taken) I wasn't much bigger. He wasn't very big, born at 6lb 6oz but was wonderfully healthy. So yes, she could be due in 6 weeks and it doesn't mean the baby is going to be unhealthy or too tiny at all…

The endpoint: she delivered a good size baby (more than 7 lbs) and the boy is a big boy, has developed a lot and was almost bigger than my child who was born with 8lbs and has a tall daddy!

First of all, she's seven and a half months along if she's due in 6 weeks! And when you're six feet tall, the baby has more room to grow so Nicole might not get very big. My mom just had a baby and she onlt gained 19 pounds and the baby was almost ten pounds! Know your facts!!!

Some women effectively "loose" weight while pregnant, calculating in the minimally desired 25lb weight gain. Other women give birth not knowing or acknowledging that they are pregnant. The latter is not to be desired, obviously. While it's not usual to not get BIG, it's not unusual either.

I have thought this was fake all along. She has not once had roots showing in her hair and everyone knows you can't dye your hair during the first trimester. Her color has been perfect all along. Her face has not had a wrinkle on it the entire time as well and you are not allowed to have botox while pregnant. If you have as much botox as she does, after 8 months of no botox, she would not look like this picture.

Perez, you are showing your ignorance. Nicole Richie isn't six feet tall. Nicole Kidman is six feet tall. That kind of height makes a big difference in how you carry and present a pregnancy. Also, it is common for the fetus to gain half a pound a week in the last month or so of the pregnancy. So, she could have a four-pound fetus in there now but in six weeks it could be a seven-pound baby.
