This couple is a joke, another Hollywood "love" that will not survive. In Hollywood love is two weeks of saying "I love you", then marriage, and split up. Actors should have to have a license to love, and psyche exam some don't know the difference between fantasy and reality.
And to think Sheryl's dating a gorgeous succesful guy. In hindsight, Mr trashy did her a favor by showing her his true self before the wedding.

Re: Goldie Must Be SOOO Proud – Oh, come on. The camera loves her. I liked her in The Skeleton Key. It's tough on kids of actors when they, too, wish to act. There's always someone who cries nepotism, and Hudson did not use the Hawn last name. Goldie's acting improved exponentially as she got older, and so will Kate's. She was lucky to land the role of Penny Lane in Almost Famous, and she emitted the right feel for those times; they lined up for her after that. Her personal life is hers to do as she wishes, as this is America.

She goes from man to man, all the while putting interviews into the media about how she doesn't need a man. She pretends to be a good mother when she neglects, uses, and hurts her son with her behavior, calling in the media and the paparazzi to be sure they get pictures of her looking like a good mother, then pretending she is surprised the media knew where she was. She's treated Chris like shit during their separation, trying to act like he had the drug problem and he made her sleep with his female groupies, when she did exactly what she wanted to all along. Now she plants stories in the media about Owen Wilson, letting people think she broke up with him and he wronged her, when the reality is she cheated on him just like she cheated before. Lance is a strange choice, but it makes sense, he also calls in the media as he wants publicity, and he also cheats at will. The truth is out now and she's not going to get the sympathy you're hoping for. It's nice you defended her, but you'll have to let other people state the ways in which her reputation has been destroyed too - as you said, it's America and we're all entitled to think what we do.

I'm not 'wrong'. I differ in opinion, and am free to do so. She married very young, and is finding her way. It's none of our damn business how she does it, but this IS Perez, so even you can have your curiously harsh and judgemental say about this girl who you probably don't even know personally. Honestly, some folks on here remind me of Mrs. Olsen on Little House, or the nosy neighbour Mrs. Kravitz on the old 'Bewitched.' Why on earth would I 'hope' for sympathy for this girl? I live a country away, and often simply try to bring balance to some who would think nothing of the Salem witch hunt, and froth at the mouth over someone else's temporarily unstable personal life.
Furthermore, if Kate Hudson had the good fortune to find her match and the love of her life, she would settle down pronto, like the rest of us would. Don't begrudge her right to seek it. It's a tough thing for anyone to find, agreed? She has to attempt it in the public and prying eye.
If only she were in it to find the love of her life! She's clearly in it for publicity, and can't even treat her son as if she loves him.

Re: john – Lance has notched a couple too many high profile bedposts for my taste. I have a feeling he's looking for what he left in the first place, but doesn't know it. IMHO, anyone who notches seven tour de france wins has a hole of recognition that needs filling, and thus was unlikely to be even close to pulling his weight at home with the wife and kids. You go for what's most important to you, so there went the marriage. He's been a winner/champion, but only in certain areas, and it depends on how you define 'winner'.
I thought it looked like the real deal with Chris Robinson, and was sad for them when it ended; but you never really know what it's like to live with someone behind closed doors, and anything you might surmise would be conjecture, unless you're Chris or Kate themselves. I don't know too many people who would have an affair if their marriage/relationship was going well. An affair is usually a last ditch symptom of something else.

What is with that stare on Lance - his beaty eyes look like he's fixated on finding new blond (notice that he only dates blonds) young celebs. Did anyone ever take note of this fact: he was raised by a single blond mom, he married a blond woman who looks exactly like his mom, then he went for another older mom-look-a-like in Cheryl Crowe and yet another older mom-look-a-like in Tory Burch and now he is going for younger pre-pubescent looking blond girls like the Olsen twin and Kate Hudson. He definitely has some major issues.

The tragic thing is, they're totally passing these issues on to their own children in how they treat them. In about 20 years I fully expect to see tabloid press on how Ryder is having a difficult time staying in a monogamous relationship. These things are handed down in families.
