~I'm sorry but this boy-faced man does nothing for me…I hated him in Indiana Jones…that stupid worried expression with his mouth open the entire movie was neither attractive nor masculine…I didn't buy "Mutt" as a Wild Ones reincarnation of Marlon Brando and from the reviews looks like many didn't either….If this is who Spielberg is preparing to take on the Indiana Jones torch then he has fully lost the creative touch he once had for finding the perfect actor to fill his movie roles….They should have left the hat in the Smithsonian….

I thought that the movie had a lot of imperfections, but I still enjoyed it overall. About Shia, I thought that the character was not especially written well, and that Shia made the most of what he was given to work with. BUT - I Honestly don't see Shia as the successor to Indy (as immortalized by the charismatic Harrison Ford). Shia would be a perfect sidekick in future Indy films, but he is COMPLETELY wrong for the lead part. He should build his career with showy roles like the upcoming Eagle Eye and Y The Last Man.
