better than her pop music
I am not a country fan, or a jessica simpson fan, but I think that this genra is definitely better for her than pop.

Okay so I hate country music. I absolutely hate it…but I definitely have to say that I think Jessica Simpson has finally found a place she might be able to put her semi talent to good use. COUNTRY MUSIC! This is actually a good song and her voice suprisingly sounds good. Great wholesome gorgeous girl with great style but a good singing voice she does not have….except singing country music. I hate to say this but….DO THE COUNTRY ALBUM JESSICA!

I'm a country radio DJ and this isn't horrible. it could be on the radio, and probably will be by the end of the summer, but then again, there's been nothing really good out lately in country music.

I am not a Jessica Simpson fan and cannot watch a movie she is in but I have to say that this is probably her genre … if any! I find it funny Joe Simpson would try have us believe she likes to sing hence the change from Pop. No Joe… no one will buy her pop albums so whats next… ahhhh country! She's not bad but nothing spectacular for a debute song!
I like Jess's pop music better….I'm not sure about this country gig but her voice is great and she CAN sing! Everyone needs to get over it and their jealous comments against her…

How can anyone say she can't sing? She may be annoying but she does have a great voice. Must we compare everyone to a handful of great artists? Everyone is so critical. I'm over 50 years old and there was actually less talent out there in my teen years than you have now. I don't care for this song but I think she made a great choice in going country, it's suits her persona AND her voice.
I love it. Jessica you found your calling girl…i feel your passion through this music and lyrics, unlike your previous, breathy, shallow pop music. I look forward to hearing more, and I dont really even like country, but this is damn good.

I have never been a fan of Jessica's singing…NEVER. I have, however, been a BIG fan of country music for years. I could not resist listening to her because I KNEW it would be BAD. I have to say, I actually LIKED it!!! As a country fan, Jessica might just have found where she fits. Wow…..

Its decent. I like the song, but dislike her voice. So really, I think it would be better sung by someone else. Though it does sound like it has John Rich written all over it (which is good for her, as far as country music goes, he basically has the midas touch). And as much as it sucks, it is a big step up from her pop music, which is just garbage.

I think everyone is being too hard on Jessica! It is her first single and I give her credit. Everyone gets better over time, and she just needs to grow as a country artist. I personally think the song lacks depth; but its not as horrible as everyone says. C'mon she isn't Ashlee who sucks wayyyyyy more !!!!!! You guys were going to hate it wheather it rocked or not, so really thats just stupid !
