I like it… I just listened to it thinking it WASN'T jessica simpson and I liked the song.. Hate her though.
The reason the world laughs at you and your family, Jessica is because you don't have any real talent. You need to stick with one thing rather than doing everything in the world and sucking at it. I personally would put all my marbles in the clothing line if I were you, Jess. Country music would have been a good start but you can't just go changing careers like you do your personality for guys. People don't buy into wannabes. Never act again. If you must sing choose ONE genre and work hard at it. BE YOURSELF. Ignore your father. Go back to Nick and things might change.
Perez, that song sounds like Austin. If you don't like it, I don't think you'd like to live in Austin. At all. But you can still come back for SXSW.

While I'm not a fan of this, and it's clearly an attempt at making money of the only genre in music that is still making money… I can easily say her voice is far better suited for county.

Surprisingly not half as bad as I expected it to be.
It sounds more "pop" than Country to me though, but then again, all music is starting to sound the same nowadays.

I have to disagree this time Perez. I like this alot. I am a fan of country already and did not want to like this. My husband put it perfectly when he said she sounds fake with pop and country suits her better.

I actually think this was the best work she has done yet. I hated her pop, but this suits her. I am not into country music, but I think it was very good.
It actually wasn't that bad considering her limited singing ability. She didn't scream or go off key once.
I think that it sounds just like her old music. She is a wannabe country music star…she should really be sticking to pop. You cant change your mind after you've been in the business several years, it just doesnt happen.

Gotta admit, I'm not the biggest country fan and Jessica has really gotten on my nerves lately. With that said, that song is not bad at all. It's really fun and summery- I think it will do great, I'll listen to it. Congrats, Jessica!

I like Jessica Simpson. There's nothing wrong with her trying something else out. She has a nice voice. She sounds like every other country singer out right now. Nothing that sets her apart from anyone. The song is weak, lyrics are dumb… I think she could nail it if she had the right song.

Tell Daddy that you're a big girl now, get out from under his control (seriously, he looks and acts like he's your jealous lover), and do some soul searching to find out what it is you really should be doing with your life. We all know it's not acting or singing. Better yet, just get married, have a butt load of kids, and live happily ever after out of the spotlight. Trust me, you'll be tons happier. And make sure your future hubby is a strong brute w/a loaded shotgun in order to keep your creepy dad away from you and your kids.

Wow! I was really scared when I heard she was going country…but I'm scared of a lot of her music…but I must say this style fits her very well…she doesn't sound too breathy like most her other songs. I would like to hear more!
