Even though she got knocked up before tying the knot, Ashlee Simpson claims to be a traditionalist.
She has revealed that she's changing her name to Ashlee Wentz in honor of her husband, rocker Pete Wentz. However, professionally, she'll go by the hyphenated version, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.
In 'honor' of her husband?
How honorable! Ha!
Ass said, "I think that that's something that a woman should do when they're marrying a man. It's a tradition that I think is a great tradition."
According to Pete, the name change decision was solely Ass', "These decisions with Ashlee and her name are all completely up to Ashlee. I want her to do these kinds of things the way she wants to do them."
At least their child won't be a bastard anymore.

I am done with you and everything else connected with you. I can't sit back anymore and watch you call these unborn children bastards again and again. What did they ever do you do? What does it really matter if the parents are married or not, the child is still going to be loved either way. What is marriage? A piece of paper and some jewelry saying that you love each other? Does marriage say "I now pronounce you able to conceive and raise a family?". It really makes me sick that people think you need to be married to live together, to have kids together, and to basically say your in love. Babies are babies no matter the circumstance of their birth. Why do you need to label them? Who cares if their parents are married or not, young or old, or straight or gay? As long as the child is loved and properly cared for nothing else should matter. I think you need to back off these lives! It is really uncalled for and hurtful.
