Looks like Raven Symone's biggest fan is OVAH her! The keeper of her biggest fan site, Raven-Symone.org, has called it quits.
And the actress/singer is to blame!
Here are his parting words:

The time has come for me to personally close the site. We were at the top of our game and I cannot be more happy with the way the site had gone. The members were all so loyal. However I made the decision to close the site based on this past year. This was supposed to be the best year for Raven professionally and she wasted it! The movie did great, she promoted I couldn't have been happier, I got to meet her and even though she was very standoffish it completed my goal of wanting to meet her.The whole album deal just infuriates me! She had a great album and she refused to do anything with it. She ended up selling only 4,400 copies!!!! That is a huge flop. She did zero promotion and didn't acknowledge it on her OWN official website which showed little to no care for this album which is sad. What just did it for me was her management team, we were told we would get an interview for the website 4 months ago… then it comes time for it and they decide we don't need it. Cause raven is so busy right? All the promotion we did online for years was nothing but free promotion for them. I am done supporting someone who just doesn't care about her projects. I wish all the fans well and as for me, I have finally moved on…

Honestly, one of the best shows on t.v. What a shame. I did not know she was like that. It sounded like a very professional website. Cudos to Derrick but too bad.
Raven is a role model to women everywhere; like Nikki Blonsky, she defies the belief that all people that work in Hollywood are stick-thin and healthy. You CAN be healthy and have a curvaceous figure, too.

I WAS ONE OF THE 4,400 WHO BOUGHT THE ALBUM. AND ITS TRUE, IT IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. JUST AS CATCHY AS MILEY CYRUS, BUT BETTER PRODUCTION VALUE AND MUCH MUCH MORE TO LISTEN TO. If she promoted it properly i have no doubt it could have gone platinum.

So she was polite but not an instant-best friend? No kidding. She is a star and Derrick, no offense intended, but you could use more visits with your psychotherapist. Time to work out why you want to put your idol on a pedestal and then bring them down when they disappoint you.
I remember her doing some press for Cheetah Girls, and at the time my little cousin was really into their music, and had posters galore of them. Well, Disney Orlando had a meet and greet, promoting the second movie, and I got stuck taking her. Long story short, we waited in rain, it wasn't that bad it was sprinkling a bit, and so all the other girls were real nice, but when I tried to do a pic with all of them, I tried to get ravens attention, and she actually got pissed cause I was using a cheap Camera and said I don't wanna take my pic with that cheapy camera. The other girls were nice and did it anyway, they just looked at her funny as we walked off. Atleast all 4 signed the autograph.

Companies promote and set up appearance for celebs and if they are not set up, she can't make them set them up. Does anyone really believe that she wanted her album to fail. DUH.

You do realize that the artist doesn't have control over what's done with an album. It's all her label. YES if you listen, her album is really good. It's an amazing effort from a Disney run artist. Raven probably didn't have any say on what the LABEL did with her album. I will say that out of all the Disney machine run puppets, Raven will be the only one that we'll see successful projects from in the next 20-30 years.

never in a million years have i ever posted, but i have to on this one. i worked with raven as a makeup artist for a few years, as well as many other celebrities, and she is the only one i've seen who truly appreciates her fans at a deeper level than normal. it's sad to see that you experienced this, because i really have grown to respect her as a consummate professional in every aspect.
