A Real Reality Show!

ABC just ordered a show called Border Security USA, which will take an 'unprecedented look behind the scenes at the government's fight against terrorism' and the efforts of border protection agencies to halt illegal smuggling and immigration.
A typical episode might jump from a border patrol in Texas to security screeners at a New York airport to a Coast Guard boat off Puerto Rico.
Border is reportedly the first multiepisode television series to be shot in cooperation with the Department of Homeland Security, as well as several other government agencies.
However, like most things in Hollywood these days, Border is a rip-off of something else. It's based on the Australian series Border Security: Australia's Front Line, which debuted in 2004.
ABC plans to launch Border sometime next season.

I'm mexican and I'm not an illegal alien to USA, I have a proper VISA and I only go there for shopping/tourism… Really you should stop calling all mexicans illegals,beaners, wetbacks and all that stuff, we're not all like that…100% of my friends go to NY, SD, Boston, LA just to do the same as I do (shooping/tourism); we spend some money in USA and of course if we're going by car we have insurance and all that. I adjust totally to the rules of your country, for example speak english (altough I forget some words sometimes), behave according to the laws in all ways.

The Australian show is actually really good and interesting. Has actually helped to increase the number of people that apply for jobs in the customs department. Hope that the hollywood version is just as interesting.
