Old hasbeen model Lauren Hutton attacked Sex And The City's portrayal of promiscuous women AND blamed "gay writers" for creating the stereotype that single women are "sluts" on the Today Show Thursday!

AND, Hutton confessed she had never seen an episode of SATC but claimed it promoted the untrue myth that it's natural for women to be sexually promiscuous.

Aside from the fact that she's never even seen the show, she actually makes a good point. Almost every gay man that I know has either been, or currently is a slut. If they aren't publically, they are privately. Notice that she didn't say ALL men, she said MOST, and also notice she didn't say most GAY men, she said most men in general, and to be honest, I agree. Actually there IS some truth in what she's saying. The show isn't realistic. The show is as inaccurate as if a conservative Christian wrote about life in the gay community. They would make every gay person someone who was sexually abused in order to explain their homosexuality. It's a bit mean-spirited what she's saying but she isn't far off of the mark (we women aren't genetically motivated by sex in the same way that men are but we have started to believe so due to television and movie portrayals.)
