Dang! Talk about a processed voice. Top 40 Garbage like the rest of her songs. The beats are tired her voice is tired and the lyrics are tired. Conclusion=TIRED!!! I hope she stays on top of her fashion game because this girl is not coming for anyone.

Ok, this kind of ticks me off. I really like Rihanna and this song is good. However, what ticks me off is how she is RERELEASING her album, I got the orginal when it first came out and then she kept coming out with these other songs. Ugh. She should have just saved them for her next album. >=/

I really like this song…but why is she re-releasing her cd with different tracks on it? I already purchased the disk when it came out….so why not just release a NEW cd with the cool new tracks on…and if she only had a few extra tracks on it she could have just done a mini-disk thing….grrr.

Re: why? – it's kind of funny because pop HAS evolved from what it used to be, but in the totally wrong direction. it went from clever thoughtful REAL musicians that knew how to incorporate 'a hook' to appease the 'corporations', yet still remain true to themselves while making music that had mass appeal but it was actually based on their talent, not their image or appearance. i'll list examples: elton john, tina turner, billy joel, the beatles, neil young, cat stevens, hell, even journey! you get my point. middle aged men & women, black & white, fat or skinny, gay or straight, it didn't matter, even POP music was about the music. at what point did it stop being about music? when mtv came out i think. ironic.

Re: aneury – you're right about mtv, actually. they changed the face of music forever…with the music video, artists had to not only sound, but look appealing to fans… The funny thing is that it was indeed the beginning of the end, marking a period of pop culture decadence (the irony is typing that just now seemed as if I was about to say something redundant) in which the music scene became a fukkfest, a fugue-like fukking pot of hot girls and gay guys (hahah) who sounded like shi* but looked like money. (In case you were wondering, it's when Paula Abdul found her greatest success). And for all the people who suddenly found themselves successful, there were tons more who never again sold records. (I think it was the end of soul because many African American singers just weren't conducive to the American notions of beauty and sex appeal).
