I agree. I was still angry HOURS after leaving the movie. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED loved it. But HOOOOOOW could he do that to her? And HOW could she blame everybody but him? If she put up with THAT I guess she could easily put up with adultery, a baby on the side and an STD. Oh! That could be the theme of the next movie!

Kudos to Charlotte for having teeth, and ripping "Big" a new one! AND Girl, how about Dante' , Samantha's California neighbor. Alrighty for the "Winky" shot!

Ok, being completely honest, I LOVE THE MOVIE. I am a huge fan of the show. There were several surprises, and OMG the clothes!!!!! However, I was a bit disappointed. If you have been keeping up with all of the media blitz, you saw most of the movie in the clips, and pictures. Also, if you are a true SATC fan, you will find the plot line a bit predictable.

I love Sex and the City. I have watched every episode like 10 times. I was so excited to see this and I must say that I was really dissapointed. It was nothing like the show at all. It wasnt witty or well written. And like in the final episode Carrie sold herself out. Wihout giving too much away, if you really think about it, what self respecting person would do that?
The film has tainted the programme and they shouldn't have made it. I wanted to love it but I didnt and for that I am sad! lol

My husband took me to see it - awesome. I laughed, I cried, I loved Charlotte during Carrie's heartbreaking scene and then laughed at her in Mexico - that was my husband's favorite part. The show was about friends, fun, growing up, love, laughs, and drama…it was awesome - abso-fucking-lutly awesome. So awesome, I didn't even notice the boom mics.
1. The "fashion" was atrocious. How many of you would go out in thigh-high argyle socks? Come on! Every time I saw a wardrobe change I would almost burst out laughing. Those clothes are so ridiculous. RIDICULOUS!!!!
2. Am I the only person who sees how selfish those women are? They expect their men to "do" EVERYTHING for them but what do they give in return? Did any of you see any of them do any giving whatsoever (sex not included here, sorry) Relationships are give and take and all these girls did was take-take-take.
3. Charlotte had what seemed like 3 lines in the whole movie. What was that about? Her character seemed like it got cut out of the action or something. Not much goin' on with Charlotte. She was just "there."
4. Why does Carrie wear pearls to bed (in 2 scenes?) Did I miss something there? Has anybody tried sleeping in pearls? Ouch!
5. Ok if you go into it not expecting any depth whatsoever, just go in and have fun with it then you will love it. It was a fun movie, a guilty pleasure. An indulgence. Enjoy!
I love it! I love how it wasn't totally fairy tale perfect. the ladies were a little bitter, angry and cynical cause in reality getting older can be hard! And life can throw stuff at you. I loved hanging with the ladies again! They all look great! Their faces do look older but so does mine! Except Samantha- she must use Botox.
I love Carrie and Big together and I LOVE that Charlotte got a baby!
Miranda and Steve looked miserable and Samantha looked beautiful but her man looked not so hot.

AMAZING! As a "TRUEFAN" who has watched every episode countless times, i was so impressed with this movie. They gave the fans everything they wanted. And the message you leave with at the end of the movie is awesome. I think however if you are not a true fan of the show you won't get this movie. And for the critics who have given it bad reviews: consider the sources. One of the best movies i have seen in a very long time and i am going to see it again!

I'm sorry but this movie was strictly geared to middle-aged women while the series was aimed for EVERYONE. As a (gay) man sitting in a theatre of 95% women, I was disappointed with where they took the film. The men in the movie were simply there to fill in storyline OBJECTives.
the movie was excellent!!!! the only disappointment in the entire production was jennifer hudson's acting. and to think that she has an academy award. the girl can sing but she cannot act, she is almost as bad as mandy moore. the role should have been given to some one else. hudson most definetely the weakest link.
I loved the movie. It wasn't quite as good as the show, but loved it anyway. She shouldn't have taken Big back and married him in the end, tho.
1st - I LOVE SATC, that being said, I was disappointed. Yes, it was good & lots of funny & touching moments BUT I HATE BIG. What kind of message is the movie setting? Wait around for some douche to finally commit after 10 years? WTF? Is this for the women who have asshole boyfriends and think magically (after wasting their time for years) they are going to change and be the person they want them to be? Seriously, I'm a realist. If they wanted me (I'm sure I'm not alone) to be happy with this movie, the douche should've gotten out of the car the 1st time. Instead, she had to basically make him to it his way - why not just get him wasted and then mumble I do? In real life, he would reluctantly get married to her and then cheat on her a week later. They should've dumped his ass and let him be a playboy & had her get back with Aiden. He was a GOOD MAN WORTH HAVING! Ugh.
