OMG! I LOVE LOVE LOVEd the new sex and he city movie! Whoever wrote and said that they saw mics and such is a moron. I don't care if they are there or not! I was so swept away by the movie that even though I knew I should be watching for them I just could not. It was all I wanted and sooooooooo much more! Go see it right now!!!!!!!!

As THE BIGGEST SATC fan I know, I have mixed feelings. What I loved about the show was the witty banter, the colorful characters, and the humorous dating and relationship scenarios. The move had very little of this.
I don't know what happened - if they didn't get the original writing crew back or what - but the dialog was just … lacking. There were some laughs, but I am very sad to say that the biggest laugh of the movie was poopy pants. Poopy pants??? The finale of the series was written into a corner - the end of dating for the girls - and in turn, the movie had no dating - only grudge-holding relationship drama. Some of the best character foils - the men, characters like Stanford, were barely in it at all, and one-dimensional at best! Instead, Jennifer Hudson was written in as a supporting lead - and I love JH, but why didn't they use HER to have some dating and/or sex adventures?? Overall, I was the biggest advocate for the making of the movie because of my love for the series, and I religiously avoided previews and spoilers, but it was … lacking. Just proves you can't go back home.

It was the best movie that i have seen in a long time! So AMAZING!!!! I would no have expected anything different.
If you're a SATC fan, you will undoubtedly like the movie. It's really great seeing the four gal pals together again. I loved that.
HOWEVER, the movie lacked the witty dialogue and some of the catchy phrases that Carrie used in her column during the series. But other than that, SATC is still the best.

i religiously watch the show since i was a teenager… i am in my late 20s now.. and i am a ahuge fan to say the least… but the movie left me like… idk… i expected more… the onscreen chemistry was pretty lame.. i didnt think it was fucking amazing or fucking fantastic… it was just good… and the reason why we love it so much in reality is because we missed seeing them on camera together… we miss them… not because the movie was good its cuz we miss the show and the movie gave us that for 2 and a half more hours… so all this "the movie was perfect" shizz is really a figment of ur imagination… ur confusing it with the feeling of happiness that u get to see ur fave showon screen again… admit it
It was only ok. I am a fan but it was soooo cheezy, and the girls really over acted. Of course they have to give it the story book ending, but that is not how the tv show was!!
Loved it! Only one negative…we saw microphones above their heads through the whole movie (SC). Other than that it was great!

I LOVED IT! Except for the whole scene where you could see the boom mics in every shot. I mean if you're gonna take such pride and time in editing and filming a great movie, watch the HUGE problems. Otherwise, I loved it. It met my expectations. Hope there is a sequel.

Loved the movie !!!! Especially enjoyed Kim Catrall's, still sexy 50 year old, Samantha. Charlotte achieved the life she soooo wanted. Miranda, shame shame on her and her loose lips, but all turned out alright in the end. SJP, what can I say she was the co-producer, first totally humiliated and then . . . oh well, you have to see the show and form your own opinion!!!! The ladies & a few guys, had a wonderful time at the midnight show on Thursday night in NYC.

I thought it was fantastic. Picked up right where the show left off. I thought Big was the sexiest thing ever. I want to see it again but work gets in the way. The theatre I was at was so packed with people that the ticket chick didn't even take our tix and I sure did return them for the full price. Everyone was so animated in our theatre. I loved this guy in our row who would stand up and holler when something was good. I have to admit, I laughed and cried and IT WAS FABULOUS!!!!

I loved seeing all the characters again but I was disappointed that Miranda didn't have any backbone, and I wanted to know who the other woman was!!! Plus Smith & Samantha breaking up I think was too much, especially after a season or him being the through chemo. Charlotte was AMAZING!!!! I never realized how funny she really is, her faces her pissed off walk, even the way she protected Carrie on her wedding day!!! : ) A-mazing.

I finally had to remind myself about 20 minutes into it that I was watching a movie and not the show and to stop worrying that it was going to end in 5! I sat back and enjoyed it. It was f#*$ing awesome!
Anyone who has anything bad to say about this movie is fucking out of their mind!! They all still looked fab, the clothes were fab, and the movie was amazinngg! If you say SJP is butt ugly your just jealous that she has a better body then you in her 40's haha. LOVED IT!

True thoughts from a super true fan…it was "good" not great. Here is the deal; Anthony and Stanford only have minimal parts. At times it serious for far too long. The show was always good in that it would do that but only for a short period. SJP acting was some of the best she's done. Without spoiling it, for those who have been where she goes, you will totally agree about her acting. Just missed more of the fun. They did put a little too much point on fashion; it should have been in the background not a main character.
I loved it….it was so worth the wait.
