LOOOOVE. Great that there was some fashion in it for everyone, vintage, hipsters, couture, edgy, and even some conservative for you Charlottes. Buuuuut . . . I think Mr. Big should've done something BIG to get Carrie back, something radical and truly NYC like flash her name in Times Square or rent a few billboards . . . . more ROMANCE. You know, for us chicks.
I loved the movie…however, I think that it was 45 minutes longer than it should have been. I am sure they could have cut out some of the drawn out dramatic scene's… like Miranda taking forever to take back Steve, and Carrie hurting over big…. Overall good but a bit long

Superseded all my expectations and am rewatching the show. LOVED the outfits and LOVED all the relationships that continued where it last left off… but what's up w/ BIG? They portrayed him so melancholy and needy in the movie…

`saw the movie on saturday and its my new favourite, i cant wait till it comes out on DVD so i can watch it over and over again, i was so happr carrie and big worked out if they hadnt i would have been devastated!!!!!!!
Did not disappoint–first half great, second half, not so. Could have used more Stanford. No need for Carrie's assistant character, especially Jennifer Holliday, I mean Hudson. Big, Big, Big. I saw the first show opening day. It was fabulous! I wish they would consider coming back to tv. I missed it and it was more than I expected. But you know as far as the boom mics being seen, they just weren't there. IU think that was a rumor. But it was great! Hope they do a part 2

I went on Tuesday, to a place with both screens showing it and it was sold out and the show after us also. Not a straight man in the bunch.

I watched the series twice. I loved it everytime I watched it. But I didn’t love the movie. The plot was good but that was pretty much it. When I came out of the theater, I liked it but I was able to point out flaws when I saw it. One day after watching the movie, I can sit down and write this:
1. It felt like a movie. It didn’t feel like the series. The Fergie song in the beginning, the pink glittery flashbacks pumped me up for the movie but made it also made me feel like it was a circus and not another enduring chapter in a woman’s life. It was Hollywood and not art.
2. The trailer and TV commercials gave away too much. (I guessed that Big got cold feet and that Steve cheated even before I entered the theater..)
3. They overdid it with the fashion and the music too much indulgence in shallowness Sarah Jessica looked ridiculous in half of the outfits. Also, the closeups on her face were unflattering.
4. The comedy was tired and unfunny. Even that whole scene with Charlotte shitting her pants didn’t make me laugh. Where was that ingenious writing from the series? But it wasn’t completely unfunny. I definitely laughed when Samantha saw that guy taking a shower. The Charlotte giving birth scene was funny also.
