Just saw the movie, and as a fan of the show throughout its entire run, I thought it was FANTASTIC! I read the report earlier this week that there were boom mics in numerous scenes, and I'm happy to negate that report — I didn't see one! Overall, a very satisfying evening at the movies!

It was fucking fabulous!!! It was worth watching over and over in the theater! I loved it and Sarah Jessica Parker looked beautiful through out the whole movie. As did the other 3 girls. It was obvious how much they have grown into the new stages of their lives.
It was AMAZING! So cute. Everyone in the theatre loved it as well! Clapping and lots of laughs and gasps!

Overall a little long but still Loves it!

some parts were super predictable but i loved it anyway.

and quite a long movie, but it flowed pretty nicely for me.

granted, the movie could have been much much worse and absolutely killed the series but the chemistry between the characters felt flat. And the plot with carrie & big and miranda & steve seemed to go against the SATC theme of woman independence. I would have liked to see the show tackle single motherhood with Miranda rather than a off-reality reconciliation with a cheating steve.
They should have left the series on TV.
I thought it was soooo good.
And I haven't even seen any of the show.

I LOVED IT! I cried like a dork during *ahem* the big heartbreaking scene outside the library about an hour-ish in. It was heart-wrenchingly sad, and I loved SJP and Kristen Davis in that scene. I loved Charlotte's daughter Lily, she was too cute, and the clothes were amazing and all in all I thought they did an amazing job with the film. It was true to the series in that it was funny and outrageous, featured amazing fashion, and much like the TV show it left me feeling good and put quite a spring in my step as I left the theater.
Though I could have done without the stupid microphone thing during the scene in Big and Carrie's apartment (how obvious and annoying was that?!) and Samantha's hump-crazy dog. That was a tad overboard.

I thought it was highly entertaining and I liked it. I'm from Boston.. WOOO red sox.. but I digress and there was a huge turn out 4 screens.. I went to the first showing of the day at 12 am and it was PACKED and ppl where dressed to the T. It was awesome… only annoying thing was all the lil teeny boppers floating around… lol didnt they have school the next day,, anywho i give it a b+ i liked it
Really well done. Not overdone at all. Funny when it was appropriate, and sad when it was supposed to sad and dramatic. As a hardcore fan, I have to say that I was more than impressed and satisfied. YAY!

Amazing! The hanging mics were very distracting, but all-in-all I LOVED it! I only wish they had extended the carrie/big moment near the end. But regardless, I'll definitely watch it again!
