It was Fabulous! Every second of the 2 hours and 37 minutes were amazing. There was so much more dimension to the film than I ever thought possible. And I have a strong urge to hit the mall first thing tomorrow morning! xoxo

I thought the beginning started out a little kooky and sentimental…then when she got out of the limo and smashed the flowers my ladies returned!…loved the no make-up scene!…I missed our old friends, happy their back!!!

my friend topher and i love watching the show (yes a straight man that loves the show too!) i have the whole series and watch at least 1 disc a night so no one can say we're not fans.
i really felt like it didn't represent any of the ladies that well. i hate the carrie changed her whole apartment, that was weird, i know out with the old but still. and FINALLY charlotte gets preggers and she tells carrie in the hallway? where was the sit down at the cafe? i know sam was in l.a. but i don't think i saw more than one cafe scene, wtf? i feel like the whole miranda storyline was made up to add drama.
and what the hell was up with sam? we didn't see her have sex ONE TIME! i mean all of you are saying, "it was so satc!" um it's not satc for me without samantha cumming. and the whole thing with smith was rushed and made no sense. why didn't any of them try to help her through it, they were like, "ok dump him."
and what was up with anthony and stanford? how did they become friends and where is marcus. if you're not going to explain how they become friends then don't make them friends. i thought chris noth (big) seemed pained the whole time and his acting wasn't that good.
to be honest the movie was a complete let down. fuck the boom mics, if it was decent that shit wouldn't matter. we were very disappointed.
it was AMAZING. absolutely amazing. so worth waiting in line with a bunch of dressed-up women in heels for a few hours!

there is no carrie narrative throughout the film therefore as a die hard SATC fan I felt the film was a little lost and misguided. I missed the whole "later I got to thinking of matters of the heart" spiel. It was sad.
totally worth the wait, it was everything and more, plus it was kinda of funny seeing all these old OLD women get all dressed up to go watch it.. also if your looking for another movie to go watch this weekend. go see THE STRANGERS. IT SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME. VERY VERY good MOVIE.

Re: emmaa – There's no way Sex & The City will beat Indiana Jones… No offense or anything, but it doesn't have that selling power, the great producers/directors or storyline, plus all the nostalgia from back in the day. So many people have been waiting for Indy to come back, and I know for sure that they outnumber sex & the city fans. Indiana Jones is just one of those great franchises that has a little bit of everything. Once again, I don't mean to offend anyone, but I gotta defend Indy.
I thought it was AMAZING….so much better than I even imagined!!! Fuck the critics…this movie was made for the fans and did not dissapoint!!
The quality of this movie isn't even close to the quality of the TV series. The writing can't even compare. The movie is way too long and way too sloppy. And in the end, they just rush through everything so they can stick a big bow on it and call it a happy ending. The movie is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT because the TV show was SO MUCH BETTER. After season 6's stellar finale, that gave me chills and made me feel so warm inside, this movie left me feeling empty and irritated. I'm very sad tonight!

AMAZING!!! so many great moments that had me on an emotional roller coaster. It was like watching an entire series in one sitting, only better. Saddest part was at the end, knowing that SatC is finally over. Doing a sequel would completly discredit what the show stands for.
I just got home, and I'm sorry, but I hated it. And I'm the biggest SATC fan you'll ever meet. It wasn't SATC. The writing wasn't SATC or anything we're used to. I was immensely dissapointed.

I've seen it, twice, once with my best friend (who is now deceased, but there in spirit with me). We had a standing date on Sunday nights during the series and it was tough watching it alone, but I felt her there, I went again and both times walked away grateful. After the movie, I immediately called my best friends and told them I love them and am grateful they are in my lives.
I loved it! It was everything I had hoped it would be.
I watch the show religiously, and I must say I was scared that the movie would ruin things. It was all the same things that we love about the series, with just enough new twists to make us believe that time has passed and the characters are different. I don't laugh out loud at movies too often, but there are some seriously hilarious parts. And there are some that are gut-wrenching too. Any movie that can make you feel that way desite microphones hanging for most of the movie (haha it is true in some versions, it seems like) is worth seeing!
There is plenty going on that no diehard fan should leave disappointed, but I do wish that some of the characters were more present. I felt like the men were kind of short of lines, I would have loved to see more of Stanny and the ever-lovable Steve Brady, although his few scenes are absolutely the essence of him and I love him to pieces! Poor Smith too! But the important elements were there, which is the girls we love so much….and of course, the love plot between Big and Carrie is priceless. Big is really just a little coward inside and a bit stupid, but I know he loves Carrie….
saw it in new york last night at midnight. honestly, there isn't a better way they could've done it. you can't make everyone happy but they made everything so honest and realiistic, more so than they have before. it was amazing. fabulous, even.

it was okay for me. i felt like the character profile was a lot different from the shows and i also felt like it was too "hollywoody" which took away from the true meaning of the show. I think i was just expecting the best and since im a true fan of the show, it wasn't the best, atleast not for me.
