Just so we're queer, errrrr, clear: Sarah Jessica Parker is supposed to be a highly sought after piece of ass in this "film"? Correct me if I'm wrong, but she's uglier than Perez after getting a Cleveland Steamer from Jim J. Bullock.

I loved it and I must say that I felt Kristin Davis' acting was excellent– her character was much funnier in the movie than on the show and she really did a great job. I wouldn't be surprised if she got a Best Supporting Actress nomination for this movie.
Why don't you all do what you're supposed to and go cook your men something to eat. Follow that up by doing their dishes.

Re: pip – i totally agree. i am a huge fan of the show and have seen every episode far too many times and i was completely disappointed with the movie. it felt forced and the plot lines and dialogue didnt feel true to the characters from the show. too much was jammed into the too long movie and it did not do the show justice in the least. its really too bad, there was so much positive hype around it before it came out that i truly expected it to be great. still love the show though…

just got back from seeing it- I LOVED it, made me wish the show was back on- I don't care how old they get! I wish that Samantha hooked up with that one guy in the end- although I'm also sad that she and Smith didn't work out. Anyone else think that Jennifer's acting job sort of lacked in this movie?

I LOVED IT. My personal opinion has never been so contrary to what most critics are writing. The movie has received a bunch of luke warm reviews, but I've got to tell you it was AMAZING. The energy in the theatre was like a party and the movie was FABULOUS. I haven't laughed so hard or wept so many sad tears in one movie in a long, long time. GO GO GO!!!!

I am a DIE HARD fan, but the movie….kinda let me down. It was a lil cheesy…(like the dog humping…its only funny once). They were redundant with facts that (if you watched the show) you already knew….I just found it depressing:(
On the up side…I LOVED seeing the girls again…the fashion was fabolous!! and they gave amazing performances. I felt like the problem was in the plot, I would have no problem waiting another year if they'd write a better screen play!

It was so good everyone in South Beach was there! The fashion, the sex, the drama…even though it was long it was great, anyone that is a SATC fan will love it!

It was fabulous! Great acting from the entire cast. Had laughter (75%) tearful scenes (15%) and SENSUAL and Sexy scenes (10%). Worth every minute. Critics be damn….they do not know anything about trust, love, lies, sex, commitment, honesty and most of all friendship. I would give it 4 stars out of 5.

I just went to a 10:30 p.m. showing of SATC in St. Louis, MO. It was sold out. My mother and I were able to get in line early enough to get a great seat. Some girls wore flip-flops and shorts while others wore adorable dresses as a few boys tagged along!
Everyone was so into it. My mother, someone who is not very familiar with the show, absolutely LOVED it! First we were crying and then we were laughing… my abs got a great workout! The fashion was fabulous… belts are IN ladies! All of the girls were on top of their game. I love all of them equally. The acting was great from them. Kristin's character, Charlotte, brought a lot of laughter to the movie. LOVE IT! Sequel, please! P.S. - The SATC soundtrack is also a great hit… oh yeah, for all you SJP lovers… rent Girls Just Want To Have Fun! It is one of my favorite movies of all time and it has SJP in it!

FABULOUS!! The dialogues are so clever. I adore Samantha Jones and she's SUPERB in the movie - she delivered the funniest lines in throughout the movie. I loved Charlotte in the movie too - she was HILARIOUS especially the part when they were vacationing in Mexico.
