There is no point on throwing money away to make a video that doesn't get aired on music channels, nor is there much of a market for these videos, except may be Itunes. Record companies do not want to put in risk by throwing away 4 million dollars to make a huge budget video.
When is the last time you saw a video with a huge budget. There will never be a Madonna video like "Express Yourself", or "Vogue" anymore. Low budget videos are the in thing now. The money isn't in the art of videos, nor is it really in it for record sales. The money falls in "TOURING" and Madonna does it best. No wonder Live Nation takes risks on her as they know they will make tons of money from her touring and selling merchandise. I don't see Mariah selling out 70k stadiums around the world or even in the US. I don't dislike Mariah, but it gets tiresome to see you lambheads bash Madonna every opportunity.

The entire cd is fantastic. perfect summer driving music or beach music and excellent work out and dance music…what more do you want from a pop album? when Madonna attempted to do a more thoughtful and introspective cd, american life, everyone complained she was being to serious and preachy…so, here's the opposite, a lighthearted, fun, dance-thon cd. Forget your expectations and, with the volume turned way up, listen to it with an open mind…it's great! cant believe the people who have commented that they were fans but have given up on her…why? because every cd is in a new direction? If you were really a fan you would realize that's part of what makes Madonna such an intriguing artist.
