well, hate to tell you this, but if Obama is the nominee, McCain will be elected.
It's nice that you people think America will vote for him but they won't.
Here goes . .if you count the votes . .Hillary has more votes . . if you actually conducted the primary the way you conduct a Presidential Election (ya know . . winner take all) . Hillary would long ago have won nomination . . As everyone has been saying . . if the Democrats are foolish enough to elect Obama as their nominee, McCain will be President.
If Hillary drops out; Many of her supporters will stay home election day and Obama will lose. Or many of her supporters will vote for McCain and Obama will lose. Either way Obama is toast and everyone knows it. He needs almost 100% of her suppoters to move to his side and it just won't happen!
Not a chance. These two idiots first of all have such strong personalities and besides Obama will never allow Bill Clinton in to change the fact that he was one of the worst persidents ever.

Study polling is showing problems, big problems for Obama. Many people when asked, will say they will vote for Obama out of fear of being called a racist if they don't. This is showing major false positive numbers for Obama because people want to answer in a political correct way and not an honest way. In some cases up to 15% to 20% of the people polling who said they would vote for him really will not. Now you add Hillary's supporters to the mix, supporters left pissed that she didn't get the nomination and will either vote for McCain or not vote at all. This election is pretty much done already and it dosen't look good for Obama. Not good at all.

As Dean said, it isn't about the individual, it is about uniting the country. Obama is ahead, and by all accounts and speculations using the current numbers, there is no way HRC can win. After June 3, if Obama is still ahead, or has reached that miraculous number, HRC should gracefully bow out and unite the party. If she continues the blind travel through time to the convention, she is only hurting what she says she loves so much her country. Clinton agreed to the rules. When it was apparent that she couldn't win, she wants to change the rules at the eleventh hour. She rallies her supporters like Geraldine Ferraro to yell and make fools of themselves at the convention today. All she is doing is crying and dividing the party.
The majority of the voters on the DNC rules committee were supporters of Clinton. It was nice to see that they actually had some sense and did what was best for everyone involved, not just the candidate that they support.

As I watched the DNC hearing yesterday I was in total awe ~ it amazed me! In Michigan you had X number of voters for Clinton and Y number for "Uncommitted." Somehow a mathematical genius looked into a crystal ball and determined how many of the uncommitted were Obama votes. What a joke!!
