As we told you she would, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has "postponed" her underselling summer concert tour.
The singer's publicist has just released the following statement:
"After careful consideration, Ashlee Simpson has decided to postpone her summer tour. She is committed to giving her fans the best show possible, and will be back better than ever and ready to rock in the future."
Considering how badly her new album is selling, don't expect to Asslee on the road until well after her baby is born - a few years from now on her NEXT record!

Is anyone shocked? The girl is a dancer, not a superstar enterainer. (For those who dont know she did years of ballet) its no shock that her career has come to this.

this is plain and simple Bull…despite of whatever everyone says, I've been an Ashlee fan for quite sometime now. I've been to all the shows in NY and I am livid at this latest news! I don't care if she waited 3 months in order to announce her pregnancy, she knew she was pregnant and still posted her tour dates and permitted people to by tickets, when she clearly knew the pregnancy would be a "factor". So to say that "after careful consideration" is nothing but B.S. It's just a shame to see another potential AVRIL in the works!!! WHATEVER YOU DO…NEVER PISS OFF YOUR FANS!…so sad… P.S.: I WANT MY $$$ BACK!

Perez, Do you think just maybe that ticket sales are down for all concerts .. Do you think maybe its because of the economy and not the performer. First you put down Avril now Ashleee. Now I do like Avril and I am not a big fan of Lip sync Ash but still You need to lay off these celebrities. Just once this could be about the economy and not the performer. And I do believe that Avril had wondeful concert since I did go see her in Las Vegas!! And you said she was not sick. I was there buddy.She definatly had something going on because her voice was not doing well and her back up singers had to take over a lot since she could not sing up to par. She did great though when she did sing. She did the best that she could under the circumstances .. She appologized and she also did not do all her set but she was great and worth every penny I spent for her. And NO I am not a teeny bopper or a parent to one I am a Woman that loves her music and you are still a queer who has no life but to put down everyone elses life to make yours SEEM more meaningful.. Get a real life Perez and maybe you will see what the real world is like. omg i can't believe this shit… bittersweet world is actually an awesome album she just made the huge mistake of not promoting her first single outta my head with perforamances at award shows right away and making a big deal about her video for it where she looked totally amazing… it would have been huge then. most of the people i talk to don't even know about her songs or album so i think it just wasn't marketed well. she has some great producers on it timbaland and kenna and it's really good unlike rhianna's her stuff is actually pretty bad umbrella was okay the best one she had but the difference is that she sold the shit out of that album and performed it everywhere, she got all up in everyones face with it and did that naked paint scene in the umbrella video… i have to admit that rhianna's voice is pretty awful and unpleasent the only thing that saves her is that she got a catchy first track.
by the way i love ashlee with red hair she is so beautiful way prettier and cooler than jessica.

I personally think that the only reason a tour or a tour dates should ever be canceled after ticket sales are started, is if the singer is having problems with their voice. That is the only excuse. I don't think Ashlee is THAT bad as she's made out on gossip sites like on here, she does have fans left (not Fall Out Boy admirers, obviously, most of them can't stand her!) and these people should not get let down. If it had been the other way round and Fall Out Boy tour dates had been scrapped because of the wedding and her being pregnant, then she would have had her life in danger!
