Hillary NOT Conceding???

Filed under: Barack Obama > Hillary Clinton

hil__opt.jpg

This is a big mistake and just embarrassing now on her part!

We are VERY disappointed in Hillary today.

Clinton's campaign chairman, Terry McAuliffe, is denying a report from the Associated Press this morning, which said that the former first lady would concede defeat this evening to Barack Obama.

Media reports saying she was ready to concede was "100 percent incorrect," McAuliffe vowed.

Hillary said she was "absolutely" not prepared to admit Obama has beaten her in the race.

She's delusional!

We are losing a lot of respect for both Clintons these days.

Sad. Sad. Sad.

I see, so you only support the winner, not Hillary as your pretended to all along. A quitter and fair-weather friend? We're losing alot of respect for YOU Perez. The democratic process takes the time it takes. Get over your short attention span.

OK, I come here to read the "entertainment" comments - not the "political" comments, as I tune in or log on to CNBC, CNN, etc for those. I tend to believe that Perez forgets that this site is "Celebrity/Hollywood gossip and rumours" as stated on the top of your browser (glance on up). Meanwhile, this site continues to feature news and stories on the political and civilian side. These should an option to click and read, and not be thrown into our faces - nor should Perez's political state of discontent! Dont' get me wrong, I love this site (I've been a fan since the original site name) - but would rather have the "Hollywood" gossip available here at a glance than scrolling through material that should be left to those news sites.

You are quick to become a hater Perez, where is your loyalty. At least have the balls to stick with her to the end. Looks like she has more balls than you, with all the crap being said she is a true fighter.

WTF Perez, that's stupid ass advice! She should not give up. You can't tell if you succeeded at your goals until all is said and done. She won't know she definitely lost until she has but if she gives up then losing is the definite result. DUH. I wouldn't blame her for not "conceding defeat". She worked her butt off to try to be the first woman president. Why should she just give up ans walk away before finding out if all her hard work truly paid off or not?

I am for Clinton and she has lost now thru superdelegates, but she hasn't lost with the popular vote. Now there will be no doubt, no one will need a recount, no one will be able to say she didn't go to the end, no one can say she stopped too soon, no one can say she got tired, or that she couldn't/wouldn't go the distant. No one can say that she didn't really want the job. Thank you Hillary for not giving up untill you have too, for all of us that want YOU as President of the United States of America.

I passionately hate all politicians because I believe none of them mean what they say. They all have hidden agendas with their parties or promises they made to a business partner. I am leaning towards Obama, but I still want to do more research. I am definitely not a Republican though. And even I just kind of feel sympathy for them right now. I think they both definitely deserve privacy once this presidency race and VF affair report are settled. Bill Clinton wasn't even doing anything except being retired or something. And although Hilary may not be your choice I could tell how passionate she was about this campaign. I really hope she takes the VP spot if it has really been offered to her.

Why are you buying the hype, Perez? She's not doing any damage by staying in the race… it's all the people who say she HAS to get out… or else. Or else what, exactly? She represents me and millions of Americans in ways that Sens. Obama and McCain do not. She will not be bullied. And I am proud of her for staying in and staying relevant… She DID win tonight, afterall. We need someone like her to lead in the White House!

    GO HILLARY!!!

    313

Just because Obama has enough delegates to earn the nomination doesn't mean he automatically GETS the nomination. You, and a lot of Americans right now, need to read up on the real election process in our country. Hillary has every right to stay in a speak out for what she feels is right. She's very brave to take her time (not anyone else's) to make this decision for herself and for all of us who have supported her through so much already.

I like Hillary Clinton, but her defiant speech tonight (June 3) is ALL about HER EGO and PERSONAL AMBITION, and unfortunately her refusal to bow out gracefully. That is a very un-classy thing to do, and is a sign of a being sore loser. What would HRC and her die-hard supporters think of Barack Obama if he has acted as childish, if the situation were reversed?
Some of Hillary Rodham Clinton's supporters care more about winning the nomination than they do about the welfare of the Democratic Party and our need to unite so we have a better chance to win the presidency in November 2008. Any HRC supporter who says she would rather vote for John McCain than Barack Obama is a despicable racist and horribly misguided.

Clinton NEEDS to finally call it quits. She continues to make herself look stupid. Obama has all the delegates he needs. He HAS grabbed the nomination. There is no debate about it. He got the nomination even after they counted Florida and Michigan's votes (which they shouldn't have because they broke party rules). Don't get me wrong, I am so glad a woman finally ran to try to become president, but I want ANY other woman except her. What is wrong with you people?? EXPERIENCE IS NOT WHAT WE NEED. If experience did anything, Bush would have made changes, we would not be in the position we are in now. McCain stated (ON LIVE TV) that we need to end our dependence on foreign oil so that way our troops can stop dying for no reason. Proof that the current regime of republicans is incorrect and killing people for no valid reason. OBAMA'S FRESH TAKE IS WHAT WE NEED TO CHANGE THE WAY THINGS ARE DONE IN THE WHITE HOUSE. If people don't vote for Obama because he's black, then they are just plain ignorant. You cannot judge someone because of the color of their skin. At one in point in all our lives, we are all old, young, strong, weak, hated, right, or wrong. Everyone needs to remember that when making decisions about who they pick to be their president in November.

Perez, screw you. Why concede when the nomination isn't even secured until the convention? She's making a point for women (and if you think about it, breaking ground for any minority, including gays). Her race has already made it easy for a woman to attain the presidency some day. Stick to gossip and shut your trap.

no offense perez, but you don't have a respectable bone in your 300lb body. The most creative thing I've ever seen you do is post a fictitious profile on Manhunt. And the most credible thing I've ever seen you do is expose yourself as being as pea-brained as your illiterate 10 yr. old audience through Perez casts. Again, no offense. I read your site nonetheless since you make me feel better about myself. cheers.

Hillary (and or the Clintons) have been embarrassing the US for decades. Nothing different now. (And yes, I voted for Bill in the 90s so please no GOP comments)

They are like a trailer trash version of the Kennedy family. Both have the same problems, one just handled it better and weren't as desperate or delusional.

Not only that, had they not had such bad luck in their past (Karma) they wouldn't have the "respect" by some people they have today.

  21. 321

    Hey there, Perez.
    .
I don't want to be construed as a nutjob, but when you research both candidates, the way the media should have been doing, there are startling revelations.
    .
Hillary is the most amazing and qualified candidate that has ever run for the office of President of the United States.
    .
Obama is shockingly pure fraud. With the slightest amount of research, you find him to be dishonest, deceitful, on the take, and empty of a single qualification.
    .
Obama got ahead in caucuses (not true elections) before anyone knew who he was. Since then he has lost more often than he has won. He is being discovered and losing steam and polularity.
    .
He will be torn to shreds by the Republicans, as he should be.
    .
HE IS SUCH A SHAM THAT HE EVEN PLAGIARIZED 'YES WE CAN'!
    .
It is from the TITLE and continuing theme of the highly published Sammy Davis Jr autobiography.
    .
Even if she gets McCain elected, she is doing EVERY citizen a favor.
    .
