I really hate how people call Republicans or people who are against gay marriage "close minded". Just because someone believes a certain way or not the same way you do doesn't mean they're close minded, they just believe the way they want. I know a lot of people against same-sex marriages have looked into it and other liberal beliefs, and they have found that they believe society is better with conservative ways. This reversal did not just happen out of the blue. We're in a recession and states need money. So this is why states changed their minds about gay marriage. Many states made fortunes off of dumb ass sub-primes and you see what happened with that. My daughter told me she is gay about a month ago. I cried myself to sleep. But I love her with the whole of my heart. I am the first person and only person she has let know. She is only 12 years old. She said she has known for about a year now. I am proud to be trusted by her. She is part of my heart and my soul. It is easy to judge others when it is not part of your life.

I really hate how people call Republicans or people who are against gay marriage "close minded". I am against gay marriage (and yes I know this is a gay man's website, people make that ridiculous argument every day), but I have my reasons for it. Just because someone believes a certain way or not the same way you do doesn't mean they're close minded, they just believe the way they want. I know a lot of people against same-sex marriages have looked into it and other liberal beliefs, and they have found that they believe society is better with conservative ways. I myself have looked into EVERYTHING and believe the way I want because I think it is right. I think that the people who say other people are close minded because they don't believe the way they do are a little close minded, you should try opening it and see why people might believe that way.

Personally I am happy about this. I do have to say that I am not a hundred percent republican or democrat but I do lean more in favor towards the republican side for now. That's all due to recent events such as Obama having a Kennedy pick out his future staff, but that's a whole other concerning matter. I know many gay republicans in this world and such a comment obviously is not made for them. If we want others to see the big picture things cannot be forced by making such comments. In order for those to understand others and their differences it needs to be made in a manner of peace. We should be opening people's eyes by showing that your comments and beliefs are close-minded but this is why. Forcing people and lashing out of them causes people to react coolly towards others. People don't respond well to comments that are so bold and cruel. They will retract from it and then cause more hatred in this world. This are meant to happen for a reason. When the time is right I do believe God will show everyone (by example) that life is mysterious and twisted and that everyone is the same and that everyone shares the same DNA. If people want to be close-minded let them. It dosen't hurt anyone else besides themselves anyways. Besides I'm a groom's maid in my cousins upcoming wedding and I couldn't be more than thrilled!!
