Us Weekly is reporting that Jessica Simpson's father, dadager Joe Simpson, nearly ruined her relationship with Tony Romo.
He's apparently the reason for the couple's brief split in May.
Seems like Poppa Joe wanted to cas$h in on his daughter's impending engagement to the Dallas Cowboys Quarterback.
Dad had planned to sell the exclusive on the engagement news, and, as we all found out, things took a very sour turn!
According to the report, Tony has given Jessica a final ultimatum.
She needs to tell dad to back off or he's gone.
As for Joe, he says “It’s unfair to criticize me for what every manager does for his or her clients. And in this business, where people can quickly turn on you, who better than a parent to be working for his children?"
Riiiiiight.
Joe adds, "A parent will always be there for his kids and never give up on them. I work hard seven days a week for my girls because I love them. Why in the world would I ever want to do anything that would hurt my children?"

The dad is fucking gross. I think he's put his hands on his daughters cause he talks so much about their…personal stuff. Like when he was talking about how big Jess' tits were! What the fuck is that? And then he goes with Jessica for a Maxim photoshoot and she rolls up in a short mini without panties and there Joe is just staring at his daughters hamburger bun for half an hour while the shoot is going on! Even the guys at the mag were all grossed out!!

Jessica needs to take a lesson from Usher and fire her dad or as he said "retire" him. He makes her look weak and incapable of making good decisions. We all can see his choices have had a negative effect on her personaly. He needs to step aside, his job is done.

I think it is great that Jessica has her dad to blame if things go sour.
