She's feeling the heat!
Sharon Stone was compelled to apologize one more time on Wednesday for saying at the Cannes film festival that the recent devastating earthquake in China was a result of bad "karma" stemming from the situation in Tibet.
"There have been numerous reports about what I said in Cannes," she said in the new statement. "I would like to set the record straight about what I feel in my heart and end all of the misunderstandings. Yes, I misspoke. I could not be more regretful of that mistake. It was unintentional. I apologize, those words were never meant to be hurtful to anyone, they were an accident of my distraction and a product of news sensationalism. I am deeply saddened by the pain that this whole situation has caused the victims of the devastating earthquake in China."

I don't think she was that far off in her comment. The earthquake was near the Tibet border. China has done some horrible things to Tibet. DAlai lama's government in Tibet was feudal society. people were very poor and injured a lot. government of dalai lama used young girls' bone to make their candy cane and buried young girls when high level people were died. this is why communist party saved those people in Tibet. go to Tibet and ask local people instead of listening to what Dalai lama says. Sharon has apologized twice for her mistake. But for me, the bigger picture is the response for her apology, which is heartless. Now I know that the Chinese are unforgiving, because they have no love in their hearts for others. Watching how they have treated the monks, I now have become unforgiven towards the Chinese people. Re: now – I just came back from China and it was the most beautiful and breath taking trip of my life. Americans think they're the center of the universe, and feed into their own propaganda. China is amazing, think New York/Las Vegas/the future, plus a tropical and grand countryside. Their is a lot of misunderstandings between Americans and the Chinese, and Americans don't realize how far they've come. People in the West only focus on "freeing" the Tibetans but Buddhism is just as partrichal as Catholicism. People can be rich there, and they are, it's only the government officials and the soldiers who choose to be communist. I'd recommend anyone to visit there, the architecture and trains puts anything in America to shame. I think what you're doing is blaming the Chinese people for what their past leaders, who is dead and buried, did is unfair. You're missing out, I met a lot of wise and beautiful people there who have changed me for the better.

Yeah, I think she was misunderstood. She was actually speaking against the Tibetans saying that the quake was karma for their barbarous rioting. The earthquake occurred in historical Tibet (Ngawa Tibetan prefecture. Wiki it). China's government drew an arbitrary border with Tibet (Tibet Autonomous Region) but historically, Tibet's area extended far beyond that border well into Sichuan province. Most of those killed and injured were actually either ethnic Tibetans or Qiang because the Han live in areas near crowded cities which were did not receive nowhere near the damage as rural areas populated mostly by Chinese minorities like Tibetans and Qiang. Look on the map. Epicenter of the quake happened in the historically Tibetan province of Amdo (wiki it).

If you think and check carefully. you can recognize that this whole world move by bad and good karma. we did different karma in the past, so we see different situation this life, we are constantly doing new karma in this life, we will get it in next life or this life. its depend on how strong your karma is.

Karma does not result in the same lifetime (check your Buddhist spiritual readings), but a cyclical spiritual law that passes over 2 life cycles. Perez, please read all of the news on the predominant injury from the war in Iraq. Brain injury is a huge issue as is major health care issues about this and how US legislation is not accommodating treatment for this.
