Reports keep circulating that MTV is preparing to make a spinoff of their "reality" show The Hills.
They need to milk that cow!
And the lucky winner of their own spinoff show is?
Heidi & Spencer Whitney Port.
The show will consist of a crew following around Whitney as she becomes a jet-setter traveling coast-to-coast while she "works" for a fashion PR firm.
And, to make the show interesting, Whitney will magically become friends with a blonde group of New Yorkers.
How Sex & The City of her!
A source says, “There will be more blondes in the city than you ever expected!”

White-ny is more like it! When is MTV/Amerikkka going to get over blondes. They're so common nowadays and boring.
What about a show with asians. When was the last time you saw asians on tv??
I think that a show with Whitney wont be boring at all. I just read someplace about her dancing on some table at a bar…… how not boring is that? I just think she doesnt want to be in all the drama of the Hills. If whit has a show i will watch it! I would watch any of their shows as long as SPEIDI isnt in it at all! That's prob. why i have grown tired of the hills, cuz i cant stand heidi and spencers fakeness. They make me sick!
actually I thought that she wasn't that kind of person who wants attention so bad….
I guess I was wrong… but at least I'll try to watch, because I love her and her style…
Though I'm a little bit disappointed in her- I thought that only Lauren, Lo and Speidi were the desperate ones…
Well she is the most decent girl on the Hills.. I don't think there will be any sextapes and fights going on.. so yeah it could be boring, but I'll give here the benefit of the doubt.

I actually have respect for Whitney based on what I have see on the show. She seems to be the only one who is more interested in succeeding in her career than being on TV or chasing after some guy. I hope, if this is true, that she doesn't lose sight of her goals because she actually seems to have a good head on her shoulders.
I'll watch it, just because I love Whitney. She's the "normal" one. But that's boring, which means it'll be worse than the hills.
Whitney is the prettiest and most fashionable on the show, it's unfair to call her boring just because she doesn't harp on petty drama like the other members of the cast. It's about time she got her own show, I know I'll be watching.

As for the spin-off, there are pros and cons to it I guess. The pros would be that she's actually doing something with her life, so we'd actually be watching her do something, as opposed to the other girls who just go out to eat a hundred times a week and moan about all of their drama. On the other side, Whitney is also the most 'boring'…meaning, she is never involved in any drama, so anytime an issue is brought up, she's likely to just walk away from it. How boring is that to watch? lol. I dunno. I'll def. check it out….but…..she'll have to compromise her maturity and integrity in order to make it interesting from an entertainment standpoint, and I don't think she will — or should — do that.

I will definitely watch. I will probably watch her show more than The Hills because I cant stand to see Heidi and Spencer. If Lauren were smart, she would have their contracts canceled, the show has lost a lot of viewers because of them. No one is interested in them. Whitney isn't boring, shes mature and reserved. Which you don't see much in Hollywood or in celebrities.

Why is it that the only intelligent, independent, strong, career oriented woman making moves to move ahead and make something of herself considered boring??? Whitney is the best thing that happened to that show. I love her, her determination and her work ethic! She is the only role model out there now for young girls. Not fame hungry young girls with daddy's money shoved in their pockets not doing anything to secure a spot in this world once their 15 minutes is up!

Whitney seems very sweet and is definitely the most mature character on the Hills. But I don't know how interesting her reality show will be, cuz she's kind of, well, normal! Most reality shows that draw in a big audience have eccentric characters because it's entertaining. But I guess we'll all have to wait and see.
um how many spinoffs from the orginal Laguna Beach??? like 4??? we got laguna beach original, then like 2 more laguna's after that,then newport harbor, the hills, a brody show, and now THIS?!?!?!!??? to much!

FYI: Whitney Port does not actually work at People's Revolution in NYC or in LA. She is not a member of the staff. The whole thing is 100% fake for TV because Kelly Cutrone wants any excuse possible to get on any form of Media to help build her brand. My real question is, Kelly Cutrone: you saw how Teen Vogue wanted out after 2 years of having MTV characters pretend to be "interns" and denote their brand, why would you want your high profile fashion clients around an ex-Hills cast member, along with MTV? MTV is not a good idea of a business to team up with when all their viewers want is sex, fights, and drinking. Do you really want clients and the fashion industry to associate People's Revolution with this trashy teeny bopper "reality" show?
