This Is Not A Joke

bible.jpg

In 2012, Germany will be the home to a bible-themed theme park.

The biblical Disneyland will group some 40 attractions over an area the size of 70 football fields encompassing all areas of the Christian story, according to reports.

The centerpiece will be an "original size" Noah's Ark, which is 490 feet long and surrounded by water.

Glad God was able to channel down the exact dimension's of Noah's Ark to the park's architects!

Other attractions will include two roller coasters — one giving an idea of the Great Flood and another on the theme of heaven and hell — a miniature version of Biblical-era Israel and a Roman amphitheater.

It's all sounds so Old Testament.

In the New Testament section they should totally have a ride called "What Would Jesus Do?"!

Attacking Perez is NOT CHRISTIAN! Whether or not you agree with his lifestyle or not has nothing to do with the subject of a theme park.

So Perez didn't know that the dimensions of the Ark are in the bible - now he does. You don't need to call him hideous names. He didn't know - and now he does. He learned something today. The theme park is interesting but unfortunatley it is not going to be accurate in it's rides. Like travelling between heaven and hell. There is no hot firey burning hell. The bible does not talk of people burning in tormenting hell. It speaks of death, and it speaks of unrighteous ones having an everlasting death - but that does not include fire and brimestone.

I personally would like to see them build the Ark again. I think it would be neat to see a ride exploring the splitting of the red sea. (yet if God wanted us to still view the ark today - he would have perserved it down to this day. He didn't preserve it because people would worship it, fight over it. etc…) Because those were times when God saved his faithful loyal ones from the enemy. God's saving power is fasinating and beyond our comprehension. The bible is AMAZING!

Perez, this is So easy and trite. If you had real huevos you'd man up and take pot shots at Muslims and the Koran and the fact that they don't teach the holocuast in England anymore because it is "offensive" to muslims. Bite Me Mama's Boy!

tell me about it! my county is building Jesus Park in the middle of a community. it will literally be in peoples backyards! protesters are starting to make a difference though and hopefully the whole thing will be put to a stop.

    Re: CHIZAM

You hit it right on the head. These overzealous "Christians" are in the minority. People that actually follow the walk will say as much. Yet those that are Christianophobes want to make people think that Christians are ALL like that.

Besides why do you care what a book says if you don't believe in it? I care less what say, some wiccan "bible" says. Don't bother me a bit. then again I am SECURE in my believes.

    Re: trista

What is there to protest against? What harm are they doing? None.

This would be like a bunch of people rallying together to stop a Gay Amusement Park. You know, for gays to hang out. You guys would be calling those rallying against it bigots, homophobes, rednecks, etc. Yet you are supporting the same actions no?

Hard to see the forest from the trees.
