I'm all for rare, unique names. I actually kinda like apple, and adore kingston and harlow… BUT HONOR? She was trying way too hard to come up with a unique name. Its awful!!

Honor was not considered outlandish in the 50s and 60s. There is the actress Honor Blackman who was a Bond girl. I went to school with 2 girls named Honor. It just went out of style, but it has always been an established name.

OK, that is like my biggest complaint ever, anyone who knows me, knows I HATE the middle name of Marie. It's SO COMMON! Half of all the females I know have the middle name Marie. I HATE IT. Honor is a beautiful name! And not as weird as you all think….it's a pretty popular name in Ireland anyway. I'd certainly prefer to call my kid Honor than some stupid "American" name like Tiffany or something stupid like that. I'm no fan of Jessica, but Honor Marie is a pretty close to perfect name, especially considering the crazy "names" that Jessicas celebrity peers have named their poor children…..Suri (what, after Surrey in England?), Shiloh (the 90's flim featuring a DOG of the same name) and Apple (pretty self explainatory). Honor Marie is a relief from all of that madness.
