Meh, I live in Toronto. I enjoy life here, but I love Montreal, too. Two very different cities with very different vibes. No idea why anyone would hold such a negative view of either city.

Rufus obviously couldn't make it here in Toronto so he decided to go elsewhere. I will concede that the bathhouses and drug scene in the gay community is much more prevalent in Montreal; it's where a lot of Torontonians and americans go for a dirty weekend. As for living there forget it………they don't even have their own stock exchange anymore! But if you do want to have a party pad there just wait until the next separatist referendum………the real estate prices will plummet as a result of the business community making a mass exodus and voila……………condos and houses for cheap. Oh yeah………….why go to some third world country to pick up a gay for pay straight boy……the unemployment rate among young people in the city is so high you can get yourself a nice little french canadian houseboy for cheap as well.
