If he was so against the war, why not vote NO when the opportunity arrived? Instead, he voted present which is sitting on the fence. So it is a giant LIE that he was against the war and the biggest myth of this campaign.

However, I for one agree with the poster about the church. I think obama has distanced himself becuase he had to. It would have been political suicide to stay with the church after the tapes were released. I think he sat there for 20 years and believed in the majority of what that reverand had to say.
