A few days ago we exclusively revealed how Mel was lying about going on tour with Janet Jackson this fall.
Now, we have another fib to debunk!
Last week, Scary told reporters that she's been offered a role in the Broadway production Legally Blonde.
One major problem (yet again): not true!
A source close to the musical reveals exclusively to PerezHilton.com, "She has NEVER been approached by anyone associated with the production to join."

Update: According to Mel B's publicist, there's been some sort of "misunderstanding."
Says her rep, "She has in fact been offered the part of Paulette in the London West End production. The offer has been extended by James Hopson of Pippa Ailion Casting. James (on behalf of the producers) has pursued her over the past 2 months to the degree that they are now flying Melanie out to NY to see the Broadway production this weekend. I can assure you it's an expensive trip as it involves Melanie and her family, so they are deadly serious about this."

Today I would like to address a rather interesting and heated topic: gossip. It’s a very popular means of communication in today’s society. Now don’t get me wrong, I believe people have engaged in gossip for as long as man has been vocal. However, gossip has taken on a whole new life with today’s competitive, headline-driven tabloids and instant online reporting. In my opinion, it has grown into a monster of dangerous proportions. It harms those who are the subject of it and reflects poorly on those who spread it.
If you have ever been the target of gossip, you know how destructive and upsetting it can be. It often leaves you feeling emotionally battered, physically exhausted, and at a loss at how to address it. For those who spread it knowingly, I believe it erodes your character and weakens your spirit. So, with that as the foundation for today’s message, I’d like you to think about the following two questions: How do you feel about gossip? And, how do you typically respond when someone approaches you with a juicy bit of gossip?

Let's take a minute to think about this Perez……If she's openly talking to the media about it, why would she be lying? Don't you think she's smart enough to know that the truth will eventually come out? I don't think anybody is stupid enough to flat out lie about something like that as if it were really the truth. Let's use our brains Perez. I'm thinking this was all made up by the media, or she was misqouted, or maybe she was just taking the piss out of the press, just screwing with them. I don't think she's useless enough to just straight lie about something like that. Let's try not to believe everything we read, ok? And that comment about Eddie Murphy was just low. Mel didn't paint a picture of him, he showed his true colors all by himself when he went on television and publicly denied a child that he knew was his. And even if he wasn't sure if the baby was his, he should have left private matters private instead of handling it the way he did. He knew then that he was that child's and he's 100% positive now that Angel is his daughter but has he visited her or tried to be apart of her life? No he hasn't! I guarantee he doesn't even ask how she's doing. He's disgusting.
