This is so sad.
A source very close to Madonna reveals exclusively to PerezHilton.com that she is "extremely sad" and "betrayed" by her brother Christopher Ciccone's planned tell-all book about his very famous sister.
"Madonna has helped Christopher since day one of her career," says our Madge insider. "She's put him in a music video, let him direct one of her tours, decorate her homes. She's given him millions of dollars."
M is said to be closest with Christopher than with any of her other siblings, which is why his betrayal is especially painful.
But, as Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg said yesterday, she and her brother are no longer close.
Why is that????
"Christopher's drug and alcohol addiction is to blame," says our very reliable source. "There came a point where his alcohol and drug abuse got out of control and she's had to cut him off. M has offered to pay for rehab and doctors, but he just won't go. The last two years, his addiction has gotten really bad."
Sources tell us that Madonna is certain that her brother is writing this "tell-all" because he needs money.
Says our insider, "Christopher can't get work. He can't function. He's been evicted from his Miami apartment. He's broke. They took away his car. M's even offered to get him a job if he goes to rehab, but he still won't go. She's never give somenoe more chances than Christopher Ciccone."
And, what also concerns Madonna, we're, told is that "Christopher is fabricating lies" and that people will believe him.
Well, we won't believe him!
To betray your own family member like this? Beyond low!

I've met Christopher and he's a smart, funny, witty and all-around big-hearted guy. Just saw that the book is available for pre-order on Amaz*n and ordered a copy!
Re: stevi – You are right, Stevi. I was completely horrified by that Scene, in Truth or Dare- when Madonna was writhing around on her mothers' grave- whist poor Christopher looked on aghast.
This woman actually exploited her mother's grave for attention and shock value. She holds absolutely nothing sacred.

Yes, Perez, this IS a sad, sad story of betrayal. The betrayal being that it appears Madonna has put her Miami-based, very close friend, Ingrid, up to feeding PerezHilton.com with insinuations that her own younger brother is nothing more than a lying junkie looking for a fix. We all remember you publicly thanking Ingrid for the free Madonna tix on the last tour, Dude. With this post, maybe you'll get backstage this time. Hope everyone is happy.

i've been a huge madonna fan for almost my whole life and have every single one of her albums, but i'm def. buying this book. i'm just curious to see what chris has to say…but all in all, if i still like madonna's music in the future, i'll still buy her stuff. and also, madonna has made some negative comments about her family members like her brother martin in truth or dare, she made jokes about martin's alcohol problem. i guess, it's true what some people say about madonna who have met her in person, she has a HUGE ego!! yes, she's successful, but pop that big head already!! i just think madonna doesn't want us to know some very personal and maybe true things about her. but i'm pre-ordering the book and wish christopher much success!!
war, the half siblings are supporting christopher??? OUCH!!! so i guess madonna has no contact with her family, i mean, being busy and all it may not be on a personal level…but i didn't know about guy ritchie not liking gay people. i guess he forgot madonna's sexcapades in the early 90s!! justify my love didn't have gay themes?
If you love Madonna dont buy the book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
